At the point where the cracking occurs, the material deteriorated in just 4 months with daily use and taking care of it. Such a shame for a shoe of this type.

With these shoes, I did three consecutive difficult daily hikes for 5 hours in the mountains, on rocky dirt paths and rivers, but I also walk in the city for at least an hour every day and they are very comfortable. They gave me great confidence in their grip.

They are beautiful and remind me a bit of old-style athletic shoes. They are comfortable to wear with jeans.

They are exactly what one would expect from such a shoe for mountain running, but also for moderate technical climbing without being mountaineering shoes, and surprisingly, they are comfortable in the city as well, although a bit hard for simple jogging. Of course, if this is done on dirt (e.g. in a park) or slightly uneven terrain, they are ideal. They were made for exactly this and even more rugged use.

They fit perfectly in terms of length and width.
(I have a regular foot, not narrow or wide, with a slight arch.)

I used them with thin and medium athletic socks. They were equally comfortable.

I would not recommend them for work or the gym, there are cheaper, softer options, and although they are very lightweight, less than 300g, there are even lighter ones available. (Which, of course, with intense use in the mountains, would break apart from the first day...) They are not designed for such use.

They are truly perfect for me, I have not found any drawbacks despite intense use.

Finally, at the amazing price of €84 that I bought them for (normally €120), it would be very difficult to find a better shoe in its category. Simple.
