The Elgato Stream Deck has personally solved my problems as I can adjust everything and I can also use it in many projects, plus it connects very well with the other Elgato products.
The Elgato Stream Deck Live is by far my favorite gadget on my desk and it has saved my hands as a game developer due to its plugins for any application one can imagine such as Discord, Spotify, Slack, VS Code, Excel, and many more. I believe it is essential for anyone who spends a lot of time working on their computer.
I got it on sale for 179 euros, so at this price it's worth the money, but I think 229 euros is too much.
The support for dials with plugins is currently limited, but with a little searching, you can give them many functions, mainly using hotkeys. For example, I have set up the alt-tab function there, or by downloading the f.lux app that offers shortcuts for brightness, you can give a dial the ability to adjust screen brightness and more.
I mainly got it to satisfy my consumerism and complete my setup, without actually needing it so much, and at first, I thought maybe buying it was a mistake since I don't stream or anything like that. But now that I've worked with it a bit, I'm really impressed, even though I currently only use it for gaming. I can't imagine my setup without this amazing gadget.
