It is the eighth pair of Adidas shoes that I have exclusively purchased for running since 2006. They fit perfectly in size 44. However, this particular pair was tight in the front. Instead of returning them, I loosened the laces in the front and tightened them in the back. I ran the first 7km without any issues. The second 7km run was also perfect, without any discomfort. I use Danish Endurance Long Run socks, which are quite thick.

Now, besides the size, I will mention the pros and cons:
    Pros:
    1. Price. I bought them for €65.
    2. Cushioning on the road. Despite being tight, they effectively absorb impact during landing and will definitely last (I weigh 84kg and they work perfectly).
    3. Breathability. At least at temperatures of 15-16 degrees Celsius, there is no trace of sweat during my 7km runs.
    4. Fit. Once you solve the problem of tightness in the front, the shoe holds the foot very well in all phases and does not allow the arch to bend too much or suffer from minor sprains.
    5. Grip on the road. Even on wet marble (e.g. the road with statues in the Field of Mars), there is no sensation of slipping. It excels in this area.
    6. Stability. The wide and relatively tight sole provides excellent stability despite the shoe's height. Unlike very soft shoes, you don't feel the play in all the joints caused by a soft footstep. Of course, there are better options in this area, but with a different weight/size (e.g. Adidas Solarglide 5, Brooks, etc.).
    7. Weight. In size 44, the weight is 262 grams, but due to the good foot lockdown, they feel lighter.

    Cons:
    1. Quite tight, which may bother people with knee pain. For me, being 64 years old with a meniscus knee surgery, they don't create any problems.
    2. Noise on the pavement, worsened by pebbles entering the grooves of the outer sole.

As for durability, I have only run 14km so far. I will provide an update at 200km.

    Update at 95km:
    1. In terms of durability, they are perfect so far.
    2. I mentioned that they are quite tight. Indeed, they are at the beginning, but after 40-50km, the lightstrike sole softens and provides excellent cushioning while still remaining slightly tight.

  • First of all, I'll start with the size. They have a tight fit, I would take half a size bigger. I bought them for everyday workouts, for free running, but for me, they are quite hard, used to Nike and Hoka. As soon as I felt some discomfort in the Achilles, I withdrew them and I only use them for walking. Very nice shoe, I would only buy them on a good deal.

Beautiful shoe, fast with a good feel on the sole. Where it stands out is in the size. The heel cushion at the back, in contrast to the adizero Boston 12, is very thick, resulting in constantly pulling the foot forward. I believe that with enough use over time, it will soften and become smoother. For now, I have laced the laces through the last holes to keep the foot as far back as possible.

I would like to add that they do not have the expected size. While I have the adidas galaxy 6 in size 45.5 and it is comfortable, this particular model in the same size was very tight on my toes. I needed at least one size larger. It was not available, so I returned it. Otherwise, the quality seemed quite good to me. The tread felt a bit strange, but it could be due to the size or the fact that I did not walk enough to get used to it.

Quite lightweight, good shock absorption. I have already done several workouts and I believe they are worth their money, especially with the offers that are available.

Here we are talking about a fast shoe from Adidas Adizero SI that serves all the needs of an amateur runner. Ideal for long distances, mainly targeting runners with neutral or overpronation, with very good response in shock absorption and even in many kilometers without tiring the foot......plus, it doesn't easily heat up.

Ideal shoe for long distances, mainly targeting runners with a neutral or overpronation foot strike. However, it is important to try them on as I usually wear a size 46.5 in NB, 47 in Nike, and 46 in Reebok, but here I went for a size 48. In terms of size, they are exactly the same length externally as Nike shoes, for example, the Pegasus.
