Everyone knows how the great Fathers and Teachers of our Church were enlightened and moved by the Spirit. However, we often forget this and try to address theological and ecclesiastical problems, that is, problems of life and spiritual loss, only with our own abilities. We certainly need to activate these abilities, but they are not enough to reach a correct and creative result, in truth.

Here is where the great Fathers became teachers for all ages and for us. They showed us that in order to create something true, to respond correctly to an issue of our time, we must accept and experience what the theologian Fathers created before us through the enlightenment of the Holy Spirit. That is why we study and analyze the Fathers. Being moved by the Spirit, what they said about the truth and salvation of mankind concerns us and should be the basis and starting point of our own efforts.

With the hope that the fathers of the early centuries will consciously become the foundation from which our efforts to answer the many spiritual questions of our time will begin, we present these texts to our fellow readers.
