I have the 1949, which from what I understand is the newest model because they look alike and I wanted this one too. I have to say the best things about it are that it seems to have a sturdy construction and it's not something simple because if you tap it on yourself to test its durability, you feel pain, even if it's minimal, and that's how you understand it's a solid build. The positives are that it provides a very close cut and with the first use, you can achieve incredible trims and shaves, whether it's detailed work on the neck or a regular shave. The battery lasts much longer than you would believe, so anyone who wants a professional and affordable tool should buy it without hesitation!

...after many reviews I saw on YouTube..(..saying very good things and also catching my eye in terms of appearance and beauty.. I decided to buy the tool.(..gold color..)...(I have another one.. the Kemei KM-5027 which has also served me well with its 7000 rotations per minute..)
...it is very beautiful and small+ergonomic in the hand..(..fits very nicely...)...metallic..nice and solid construction that screams quality from afar and could easily cost more..(even though it's Chinese.. tell me what isn't Chinatown in our parts...)..
...I don't have a detailed opinion yet... as I'm writing this, I just did the first charge.. just to have it fully charged and ready for work when the time comes...
A BIG PRO is that you can remove the blade and adjust it to 0 gap... the motor is powerful.. I've seen all the videos on YouTube and I want to believe that its purchase was worth it...(it will show when it starts working...)
..so to summarize... it is small and cute in appearance... it screams quality and solidity with its metallic construction... its motor is powerful, I played a bit with its on/off switch and heard it...(the switch doesn't play back and forth.. it looks high-quality..(okay, I won't be banging the tool on the floor... if I want to use it for shaving, I will take care of it and maintain it properly..)... and I must admit that I liked it as a purchase at first sight...)
..the purchase was made from VitaBox.... the people inside the store were perfect.. professionals... very polite and informative with any questions I had about the KM-1973.. but also about the KM-5027...
...in any case, it is a beautiful tool.. nicely constructed and solid... now it remains to work on me like a beast to see what it can do..

You can make it take almost zero, you just have to remove the head and move the cutter a little further forward with the 2 small screws.
