Ten o'clock at night…
A strange silhouette glides through the streets of London: long coat down to the ankles, wide-brimmed hat, face covered with a stark white mask.

And in place of the nose, something monstrous: a twenty-five centimeter beak.
The attire of a plague doctor from the Middle Ages.

Half an hour later, another doctor is bent over a trash can.
He is also dressed old-fashioned, as if he stepped out of the 19th century – black cloak, top hat, cane with a silver handle, and a small suitcase.
And inside the trash can is a corpse with the wounds of the dreadful disease on its body.

Plague in 1938 London? Impossible!

Inspector Hurst must find another explanation for this case, which is becoming increasingly strange…
