Excellent drone. Slim, stable, very quiet with decent autonomy and dimensions that make it the perfect travel drone. Expensive, but with so many features that make it worth the money. It could possibly have some extra accessories in the kit (e.g. propeller restraint straps to limit their movement when putting it in/out of the bag) and a charger.
Hello, my review is for the kit with the rc n1 controller. The mini 3 pro is a significantly improved version of the mini 2. The pro version has front and rear collision sensors, with the rear sensors having a smaller range than the front ones. Thanks to these sensors, several new features have been added that the mini 2 did not have, such as subject tracking, follow me, and quick shoot. It also provides collision protection, which detects objects at approximately 1.5 meters and either stops or bypasses them based on your selection. Be careful with small branches and cables, as they may not be easily visible. The camera can capture up to 4K/60fps video, and if you want HDR, you will need to switch to 4K/30fps. The battery lasts approximately 30-35 minutes, depending on the mode and weather conditions. It weighs 250 grams, so you don't need a license to fly it, but it's recommended to obtain a permit from the relevant authorities due to the camera. The maximum height is 500 meters, although personally, I have flown it up to 140 meters. The distance is up to 3 kilometers in an open field without any issues, but in the city, I have experienced a signal drop at 1.2 kilometers, all in CE mode. CE mode refers to the signal emitted by the drone/controller, and it has a lower range compared to FCC mode, which is used in the United States. You can switch to FCC mode, but it now requires a separate application that changes the signal to FCC instead of CE, and unfortunately, it comes at an additional cost of 25 euros. It is a copy of the genuine one, but it significantly improves the signal. The camera is very good, even in low light conditions, and it has a 3-axis stabilizer. You can capture video, photos, and vertical shots. It makes a little noise and is very easy to use.
This particular one so far is reliable, I haven't risked sending it over a distance of more than 500 m, very resistant to simple bumps during landing (do not attempt landings on vegetation, dust, or stones), the photos it takes are satisfactory and if you have knowledge of photography, the results of your photography are greatly improved. The price is fair and the drone accordingly
For its price, it's great. It has good image quality, it's user-friendly and reliable. It can also be used for professional use. Mine has taken a tumble on a slope and didn't suffer anything serious, just a slight bend in one of the propellers which I replaced and everything is fine. I use it for professional use and it performs perfectly. It only has two drawbacks: it's quite lightweight so it can't fly in winds stronger than 5 Beaufort, and it has a fixed aperture of 1.8 which means it requires nd filters for daytime shots, otherwise the image will be too bright.

- The only negative is the screws for the propellers that easily get damaged during replacement, so a special screwdriver will be needed to remove the screw for replacing the worn-out propeller.
Purchase on 25/4 and a few days later I received the fly more kit along with an additional order of nd filters. Easy pairing between the controller and the aircraft. Very good photo and video quality. The sensor is 4:3, so the images are approximately square and not elongated. Satisfactory range and battery life.
I bought it 2 weeks ago. The impressions are excellent in many aspects. However.... the constant notifications and restrictions for flyovers are an annoying situation.

TEXT 2. Exactly 10 days ago (today is 5/9), the drone got "lost" in the surrounding area of the OAKA stadium. It was probably taken intentionally, and DJI is in the process of locating the "thief".
Now, how it got lost. It flew for 8 minutes, and as soon as I pressed the return (H) button, instead of coming back, it went further away, lowered in height, then went up again and moved further away, and finally landed 500 meters away from me (I realized this afterwards). The connection with the remote control was lost almost immediately as it approached the ground.
It might also be a fault of the aircraft, of course. It is being investigated.
September 15th, 23. Bravo to DJI for finally accepting the replacement of my aircraft, even though the circumstances were against me. I appreciate it and will highly value it in the future as a customer. It was approved a few days ago, and today I am receiving it!
March 5th, 2024. I have been using it for 6 months now, and the drone has proven itself in every aspect. High quality, highly customizable, where its camera lacks is in night videos. The photos and videos during the night are quite good. As for handling, I have to say that the more you use it, the better you become. It is a "sport" that cannot be learned theoretically, only through daily contact and use.
First drop from 2 meters, the data cable was cut and the camera couldn't be adjusted. 300 euros worth of damage that needs to be repaired in Germany or the Netherlands
I have had the drone since Christmas. Truly, there is no better drone for this price. It works perfectly with the DJI remote control and I believe it serves more than just connecting it to a mobile phone. However, if you decide to get the controller with the mobile phone, it can be used for the DJI simulator while the remote control is not yet compatible. The only thing I noticed is that daytime flight for video with the ideal settings is impossible without a very dark ND filter. I mean, you have to shoot at 60 fps, 120 shutter speed, 100 ISO with an ND64 filter and it still burns because it has a fixed aperture of 1.7. But if you get an ND128 or higher, then you have nothing to worry about. You can fly in very difficult conditions and it is simply a tool that someone should get.
Excellent Drone.
The only negative is that after a hit due to my own mistake, the camera mechanism (Gimbal) was damaged.
It was sent from Cyprus through DJI's representative to the service center abroad for 50 euros and they replaced it with a new one.
I highly recommend it.
Well, I have the mini3pro for about a year now. The bad thing is the range, it claims to be 3km but it barely reaches 1.5km. The tests were always done in an open area with elevation
The remote control does not have HDMI output. The drone can only fly using the controller's screen. Consider getting the package with the cheaper controller that can also connect to a tablet for a better flight experience.
Amazing feeling of stability during flight, the best that DJI has produced considering it has a x2 zoom, portrait mode, in addition to all the other capabilities of DJI, and above all, it is portable, it can be charged from a power bank or solar panel. An exceptional tool even for multi-day trips outside the city.
Together with the combo, it is worth its money!!!
I had the first Mavic, I gave it away a while ago and now I got this one. It is smoother in flight, has double the battery life, and something very important is that you don't need to calibrate the GPS every time. You open it up and fly straight away.
Edit: Unfortunately, when I try to use the active tracking, it gives me the message "Image transmission lost" and lands. No response from the store where I bought it or from DJi.
I have had the Drone for 1 year and it is worth its money. Although it is in the toy category, due to its small weight (<250g), it has many capabilities. Very powerful camera in both photos and videos, accurate stabilizer, good battery life, quite easy to use, especially with the DJI RC which has many customizable buttons and ready-to-use functions. It loses its stability and the battery life drops significantly in difficult weather conditions, but I wouldn't consider this a negative since I am aware of the category to which this specific drone belongs.
As for the negatives, I would definitely mention the range, which was smaller than expected, and in my case, the lack (at least until now) of the SDK from DJI. This limits the capabilities of this powerful drone, but this may also be related to each individual's desired use.

Construction-wise, although it has the same weight (249 gr.), it is slightly larger than the previous 2 Mini models and much quieter during flight.
Especially compared to the Mini 1, the difference is huge.
The noise during takeoff does not cause nervousness, but it is mild, almost soothing.
It has front, rear, and downward sensors, so it can fly (with caution) in dense vegetation areas, but it is best to avoid flying it near cables.
Its battery lasts for a 20-minute flight with video recording.
It can fly quite steadily in normal air conditions, whereas in the previous 2 models, it would warn you about strong winds.
It can shoot videos up to 4K @ 60fps, but the ideal setting is at 4K @ 30fps, which offers the best visual sharpness and color clarity.
It can also zoom in both photography and videography.
It has Active Track, so you can lift it up and have it follow you while you drive (at low speeds to keep up with you) or run (run at any speed you want, it keeps up with you).
It can capture various types of videos and its photos are amazing, while it also has a Zoom function.
Additionally, the DJI RC controller greatly facilitates the flight (compared to the basic one). Its screen is clear and readable even under sunlight, it connects faster to the drone, it doesn't interfere with your mobile phone (nor is there a risk of the app crashing during flight because you received a call), and with one charge, it allows you to make at least 5 or 6 twenty-minute flights, and in all flights, I had no problem with signal loss, but let's face it, I make sure not to exceed 200-300 m.
I did not try the maximum distance (around 4 km) because it is good to have visual contact with the drone during flight (if you also undergo training as drone operators, you will see that it is the first rule).
I did not try to fly it above 120 meters (it can theoretically reach up to 400-500 meters), also because this is the flight limit for drones according to Greek legislation.
With the 1.10.0 update (25/4/2023), it is now officially compatible with FPV goggles.
You will NOT find the extended battery (for a 40-minute flight) in the EU because due to the new (and more restrictive) legislation for drones, DJI has no intention of getting involved in lawsuits because it declares 249 grams and someone flies with a drone weighing 300+ grams. If someone wants such a battery, they will have to look elsewhere...
Personally, I consider the DJI Mini 3 Pro to be a semi-professional drone. Not purely professional, because it cannot be compared to the company's new flagships, nor completely amateur, as it has more functions and capabilities than the basic Mini 3.

Amazing, it is pro, it is a serious machine. It does everything easily and quickly, quietly. I also have the mini 2 and the mavic 3, I can't tell at first glance if it was taken with the mavic 3 or the mini 3 pro, very good image. Unbelievable machine. I bought it after the honest but unsatisfactory range of the Mavic mini. Comfortable to handle, amazing range, amazing features (still learning them). I did a test flight and easily reached 3km without losing any contact with the controller. Will update with more information.
Perfect, in a few words, everything that was missing from the 2 is present in the 3. Its own screen, you no longer need a mobile to fly, bright, quite satisfactory. Many flight options. You no longer fear getting stuck somewhere, obstacle avoidance sensors. Connection with smartphone for direct download of the material you shot. Nice construction. I don't know about the range yet, I've only had it for 24 hours, but with the few things I did, I didn't see anything bad. I will come back for more.
Well, after 20 days of use, I have to say that there is absolutely no problem, I wonder why I hear complaints about connectivity. 3300 meters in a residential area without any issues. The mini 2 and this one were excellent, just some very small intervals where you might lose signal. Except for the price, everything is PERFECT.
