Description

1914. The First World War changes the lives of millions of people around the world and consequently in small Greece, which aspires to embrace the giant Hellenism. Few suspect that a combination of decisions, unfortunate circumstances, and dramatic events will lead to what is called the greatest catastrophe in the history of Hellenism.

Through the pages, the most important events, decisions, hidden historical details, diplomatic backstage, and the war scene are highlighted in an understandable way.

Alongside the development of events, the author narrates 4 stories that have a fictional tone. Through the eyes and experiences of ordinary people, the collective joy, sorrow, and anxiety of a mother, a father, and a daughter from Asia Minor, and a soldier and his father from Ancient Greece are depicted.

This is a very good job, comprehensive in relation to the facts and unbiased. Additionally, the book has 255 pages, it is a good size for its cost.

With my mouth open! Once again, a comic from Byzantine Tales, which hides behind it so much historical research that it's worth reading just to learn. At the same time, the illustration is always excellent and the narration is charming. Yet another exceptional book.
