I have been using it for about 10 years... We know that at 37-37.1 it will show a deviation of 0.4 to 0.7, but below 37 or in cases of high fever, the temperatures are the same in all the comparative thermometers I have for confirmation (from mercury to 2-3 digital ones...)

We have been using it for about a year for the baby, it takes its time to measure but it is the most modern option available with the option of age group selection, night light to see the baby's ear at night/with low lighting, screen light, and overall it is reliable most of the time. It doesn't always give the same temperature in both ears, which is logical, and be careful when the baby is sleeping, the correct temperature is mainly from the upper ear that comes into contact with the air and not from the ear that touches the mattress, which is warmer and will definitely give a higher temperature. Finally, it usually requires at least 2 measurements from each ear to get an accurate reading, and this is because you have to position the thermometer correctly inside the ear. If you don't place the thermometer properly inside the ear and at the correct angle, the measurement will not be accurate. It has been compared to two other digital ear thermometers (one from Lidl and another from a different brand at half the price), and this specific thermometer wins by far in all areas. Protective caps are very important for children and babies to prevent the transmission of diseases to other children/babies. We constantly have the same protective cap on with our baby, which we don't change often, but we don't use the thermometer for another person. Without a protective cap, the thermometer DOES NOT work. Inside the package, there is a small box with several spare protective caps. It gave me an indeterminate error once, and even though I removed the batteries and put them back in, the error did not go away, not even after hours. That's why I had bought a second, cheaper thermometer as a backup. Eventually, the error corrected itself and the next day when I turned on the thermometer, it was functioning normally. Otherwise, according to the manual's instructions, I would have had to send it back to the company for repair.

It is the upgrade of IRT6520, in which they added the night light so that measurements can be taken even in the dark while the baby is sleeping. It is also quiet and very fast in measurement and accurate. There is a Greek representation, as long as it has been purchased from an official retailer.

After 1 month, it does not work properly. When you open it, it shows a red screen with an error. We have tested it and it is the same for 5 different people. The battery flashes that it is empty after 2-3 days after changing it with new ones. There is no dealership in Greece, the phone refers to English-speaking customer service. I hope to figure it out.

I had my doubts when I bought it, but luckily it was worth the money! It measures accurately! It has a function with and without sound. Also, at night you can turn on the light to aim well at the ear! I used it for the first time on 7-month-old babies! Very convenient and the best part is that it always measures correctly! The first thermometer I had was infrared (cost about 50€) for the forehead, but every time I measured, it showed different temperatures, even when I was sitting still! This one saved me! Also, it has spare membranes with which you have to measure the temperature, you don't remove it, it's necessary! I have one for the twins and I change it for us! It has a lot inside! Some people use it for years with one membrane! Also, it is very user-friendly!
