The Ibanez GRG series was developed to offer affordable guitars with poplar bodies, for easy playability, comfortable neck, and balanced sound, ideal for many music genres such as rock, metal, blues, and pop. 

Additionally, the GRG121SP features Ibanez Classic Elite pickups, metal parts, and a glossy chameleon finish, making it an impressive guitar for both stage and studio use.

Impressive Blue Metal Chameleon Color

The electric guitar GRG121SP by Ibanez features an impressive color thanks to the Blue Metal Chameleon finish, which changes color between purple, blue, and green depending on the light, like a real chameleon.


Neck construction from Maple wood

The Maple wood used in the neck is a significant element for the guitar's acoustics, as it produces a bright and precise tone resulting from the wood's hardness.

Body construction from Poplar wood

The Poplar wood used in the guitar's body offers a balanced sound with emphasis on the mid and low frequencies, performing well even in more powerful playing.



The fretboard of the GRG121SP has 24 medium jumbo frets and is made of Jatoba wood with a fairly high degree of hardness and durability. It has a reddish-brown color and produces a balanced, rich sound in the low and mid frequencies.

Humbucker Classic Elite

Equipped with two ceramic 'Classic Elite' humbuckers and two main volume and tone controls. It also features a five-position switch with the typical sounds in positions four and two.


Single output jack
