For the money one pays for this, it is decent. Nothing more.
In one month, the wheel requires a little more force in certain areas.
I bought this mouse because it has a tilt wheel. Unfortunately, unlike the G9 and Kone XTD that I had before, the Ghost, meaning the programming software (when it saves and works and recognizes the device's internal memory), does not allow you to bind a specific key of the keyboard to the tilt wheel, only through the use of macros. The problem is that the macro does not work if you have a thumb button pressed at the same time. So I have a problem in TPS action games (such as DeusEx HR/MD or WatchDogs 1&2).
Finally, although it is insignificant for me (but others may want to know), the RGB LEDs have very few (7) and jerky color presets, and the transparent plastic on top is poorly designed, resulting in seeing the spot of the LED without diffusion. No comparison to the magic of the LEDs on the Kone XTD/EMP.
I will sell it and try the Patriot Viper V560.
I don't give it 5 stars for any hardware or software, so I'll start with 4. As for how good it is for someone as a gaming mouse, it depends on the user themselves. Personally, I've had this mouse for about 3 years, it has endured falls and movements, and now its scroll wheel occasionally makes some weird noises. It has more than justified its price and personally, it is the only mouse that fits perfectly in my hand. I bought another well-known brand gaming mouse worth over 70 euros and I returned it because it simply didn't feel comfortable in my hand. I will definitely buy this Gigabyte mouse again. It definitely doesn't deserve such a low rating.
Unacceptable, after 2 weeks the wheel works occasionally and when it does, it does its own thing. In 3 weeks, it sometimes recognizes the USB and sometimes not (contact issue). Get something else for this price
After 4 years of use (I bought it in 2013), I can say that it is worth the money and more. The mat coating has worn off a bit, but I suppose it's logical if someone uses it extensively throughout the day. Lately, I have noticed some misclicks, especially with the right click, but still, it's not a reason not to choose it. The Gigabyte software is easy to use, and if a game, for example, doesn't recognize all the mouse buttons, you can easily record the movement you want within the software, and there's no problem. I would prefer it to be a bit heavier. The cable is not braided, but it doesn't bother me. It's convenient for someone who doesn't have particularly small hands
I have had it for 1.5 years now and it has never malfunctioned. The only negative thing that happened recently is that it got scratched a bit on the left click that we press with our index finger due to the matte coating. I would have liked it to be slightly heavier and slightly bulkier in the hand, but overall satisfied.
Convenient, it has a program where you can adjust the mouse to function differently in 3 different profiles that change from the button with the Ghost symbol. I recommend it without a second thought
After a long time of using it, I haven't encountered any technical issues. The only negative thing I have found in these two years is that now my hand sweats intensively after two hours of use, which becomes very annoying. However, it has paid off in two years!
The mouse is simply flawless. I have it in my store (net) and the users are completely satisfied
