Electric orbital sander by Bormann with a 350W motor. It features a circular sanding base with a diameter of 150mm, operates at 10000 revolutions per minute, and is ideal for sanding curved surfaces.
In DC electric motors, at the point where the electric current is supplied to their rotating part, two brushes (also called carbon brushes) are used. Over time, due to friction, the brushes wear out and need to be replaced. For this reason, in recent years, brushless electric motors have been developed, which greatly surpass a brushed motor.

Very good sander for its price. It does one quarter of the price of the festool and is almost equivalent except that the festool is slightly more powerful and has a greater eccentricity, which means it sands faster, especially on unpainted surfaces. However, this does not justify the large price difference because instead of one, you get four bormanns! Even the spare parts are much cheaper, with the festool you need 70 euros to change the base while with the bormann it's 20. Now as for how long it will last, I don't know, but it seems to be well built. I have had mine for 3 months and I have changed the lights every day at work (I am a polisher) and it hasn't noticed anything, even the base, which is usually what breaks in sanders, is still sticking like the first day with the sandpaper.
Hello, for the money I am very satisfied. It rubs wings, doors, and even bumpers very conveniently in the hand. As for noise, it is fine, not too loud.
