  I have used this specific bike rack 3 times. The installation took me quite some time because the instructions are very brief. Maybe the video I watched in another review can help.
  The rack is stable and sturdy and attaches to the sides, top, and bottom with 6 straps. It includes an additional strap to securely hold the bikes.
  I have only put one bike on it. I have a mountain bike, regular size, and I cannot support the bike on the horizontal axis because the support axle with the "tire" that holds the bike does not fit. In order to load it, I tie the bike to the horizontal axis of the bike and to the vertical axis of the seat. This results in one wheel of the bike protruding slightly outside the car's limits.
  Also, it is not possible to load a small bike. Anything smaller than a regular bike, due to the same issue. So if you are considering it for a child's bike, it does not fit.

  Excellent base! It fits very nicely on a Yaris 2003. I have put up to 2 bicycles weighing 18 + 9 kilograms (total weight: 27) and the base did not budge. On a 350 km trip on a national road, everything went perfectly! The only downside: Although it has plastic bases, they leave marks on the trunk door.

  In the 2006 TOYOTA Corolla, I couldn't install it. The bike mounts were too high (above the car's roof) and there was also a small margin for "play". My bike didn't fit, but that could possibly be solved differently, I didn't investigate further. All the materials are included and are of relatively good quality for its price. Finally, what I didn't like was that the entire base could only be placed on the specific vehicle on the glass without touching the metal. Very dangerous.

  Basically, before buying this rack, I had a Thule, I think the Freeway, which after 5-6 years of use, the plastic that locked its movement broke. I changed the plastic and it lasted 5-10 times until the other one broke and I gave up on it because it no longer inspired confidence. I decided to buy the best one based on the reviews and ended up with this one. I went and bought it and of course they don't install it or deal with any further problems there. In the end, it didn't fit my car, Audi A4 B7 2007, even though it was mentioned that it supports it. As soon as I put it on the trunk, I realized why, because the middle tube was slightly away from the point of the trunk just above the license plate, and as soon as I tightened the straps, it found those points and made 2 good scratches. Luckily, I took 2 rubber bands from the old Thule and put them on the tube that was barely touching to avoid damaging the car.
  Conclusion: Don't just buy anything, it's good to go to a store that will install it for you, otherwise you are at the mercy of each dealership. I don't even want to talk to the Menabo dealership and mention the problem with my car because I don't think anything will come out of it. I will only waste my time and my good mood, considering that I will leave for vacation in a few days

  Stay away.

  It has a serious flaw/deficiency in its design: the plastic parts that the bicycles touch are inserted into "tubes" that have a "stop" at the end, which is simply a cap with a screw that does not sit on the metal but in the air (it pushes the plastic outwards so that it cannot come out). As a result, with vibrations and minimal heat, the cap softens and easily comes off (you can remove it by pulling it with your hand). Then the plastic that is on top of the bicycle comes off and the bicycle itself comes off...

  This happened to me, resulting in damage to the car, but also with the risk of the bicycle completely coming off. Trying to understand how the cap came off, I simply pulled the other one with my hand and it came off without much difficulty. In other words, it is not a construction error in this specific base, but a general error in the design.

  It's a matter of debate whether I had used it 2-3 times and never left it in the sun. It was practically brand new.

  Setting up the straps is simple and easy since they are color-coded.
  Personally, I placed two straps on top, two on the bottom, and two on the sides to prevent any lateral movements. The hooks are made of good material that doesn't damage the paint of the car. (tip: you can stick felt stickers on the hooks from the inside for better paint protection). Additionally, there are large, high-quality rubber pads where the frame touches the car.

  When I was ready to load the bikes for the first time, I didn't believe it would fit 3 mountain bikes (1x29'' + 1x27.5'' + 1x20''), but it did and even sang a song. After hanging each bike, it's good to tighten the straps again, especially the ones on the bottom as they loosen due to the weight. In the packaging, there is also a strap to secure the bikes together and onto the rack, which eliminates any movement, as well as the unfortunate event of a bike falling off.
  As a rule of thumb, before we start, we check that the rack and bikes are securely on the car and avoid potholes, even with just one loaded bike.

  Final tip: Remove the rack by only loosening the bottom and side straps. Leaving the top straps at their original length, rehang it in the same spot without needing to "level" it every time. Photographic material will follow soon.

  P.S.
  I would give it 5 stars if the vertical tube where the bikes go in was 5 inches longer (it would make everyone's job easier)
