I switched from taking one capsule of Solgar D3 4000iu every 4 days, to taking one capsule daily of this product (Solgar D3 1000iu). The result was a significant decrease in D3 levels in my blood (confirmed through a relevant blood test, of course).

It is better to prefer a higher dosage of D3 and take it at longer intervals (the vitamin-hormone D is stored in fatty tissue and used by the body whenever it needs it).

After 9 months of daily use, the D went to 17. It should have been at least over 40. Something is not right with the absorption. Due to my profession, I never go out in the sun. I need the vitamin due to SAD. The advice I was given is to take it with k2. It's a shame because initially it was recommended by a doctor from a public hospital and I thought they would be right.

I bought them for my mother who has rheumatoid arthritis and her nails had become deformed. Besides cleaning them in the first month, she felt better overall.
