Very mediocre cream for its price.
It didn't provide any serious hydration, and it didn't seem suitable for nipple cream as its scent for babies doesn't seem appropriate, resulting in the need for rinsing every time.
This scent would be nice for hand cream, but too strong for babies, especially when it is intended for the area they eat from.
Very strong smell and while I was breastfeeding my newborn, I avoided using it because I had to rinse it off before nursing. It gave a sense of relief, but I quickly felt the need to reapply it, unlike lanolin. It also didn't help with nipple healing as much as lanolin and, of course, breast milk itself. However, I did use it as a hand cream during the winter when my hands were getting dry and cracked from the antiseptics and frequent washing, and it worked almost miraculously.
Amazing cream. I don't know why they say it's sticky, etc. Maybe it's different skin types.
Personally, it provided me with incredible hydration. I recommend it
They had given it to us as samples at the clinic and I had put it aside.
I wish I had used it from the beginning as I had forgotten about it.
It helps keep the nipples moisturized, and the important thing is that it is safe for infants to ingest.
I apply it before each breastfeeding, and some comments mention that it doesn't last... its use is before each breastfeeding but it's also okay, the tube has enough cream and I reapply.
It doesn't help with sore nipples... it is only for hydration.
There is another cream from frezyderm for sore nipples that I use at the end of each breastfeeding.
Unfortunately, it did not help me at all. Firstly, it has a very strong smell and needs to be removed before each breastfeeding, especially during the first few weeks when breastfeeding is very frequent, which is a hassle. Personally, lanolin helped me much more.
My midwife recommended it to me and I started using it a while ago once a day as nipple preparation... So far, I am satisfied because of the hydration I feel... The truth is that it is a bit sticky but it doesn't bother me at the moment!
With sore and irritated nipples, it didn't do anything while I was using it. After every breastfeeding session, both with this one and the other one from frezyderm, I ended up with bleeding nipples. In the end, the cream from medela saved me
It does not dry, it does not absorb.. it smells quite strong for such a product... apart from a feeling of hydration at that moment, in the long run it does NOTHING especially if you have wounds.. if a new mom is reading this, she should get the lanolin cream from the well-known company.. it will soothe your soul from the wounds.. and don't worry about the money.. a tiny bit is enough.. and most importantly, you don't need to rinse it off for the baby to breastfeed
It sticks everywhere on all clothes with the chest and then good luck trying to remove it. It doesn't absorb. It simply moisturizes but does nothing for irritation or wounds
It would be good if it was neutral in terms of scent because that comes out in the taste, it is not nice to eat and have a body cream taste, especially if the one eating is a baby
I started using it 1 to 1.5 months before childbirth (my midwife recommended it to me) and during breastfeeding, and I didn't feel any pain or discomfort in my nipples. I recommend it.
Nice feeling, provides good hydration and softens. It doesn't help as much if you have a wound. It has a slightly strong scent. It requires removal before breastfeeding!
