Very good. I am deducting one star because there are printers that produce prints with more vibrant colors. It is for home use.
Very slow, connects easily to mobile phones but if you have a VPN, you have to disconnect. The wireless connection on my computer drove me crazy, and I paid 170 for it. It's not worth it at all, I regret it. It takes good photos, but the frustration I experienced to print 5 copies and scan via wifi, only through Android, is not worth it. It's better to be connected with a cable to the PC, but still very slow. It's one of my first purchases from Scroutz that I regret, and I would say in general, stay away from Canon. Their software is terrible, go for HP instead, maybe, I don't know, but I'm really disappointed
Bought today, in white color, replacing an Epson L3060, its installation was done within 10 minutes without a USB cable. It took me more time to download the software and unpack the printer than to install it both from my mobile and laptop. The WiFi settings installation was done with WPS and was immediate.
At first glance, it is sturdy, minimalistic, has a front cassette for A4 and a rear tray for A4 plus photo paper, it is full/auto duplex, and the tray where the paper falls when it finishes comes out automatically (it doesn't go in automatically, you have to put it manually, although I haven't checked yet if it can be done automatically). Fast and quiet printing. Scanning, at first, works fine, it has an external button. By default, it is in color, so be careful (if you want to scan/copy on black monochrome papers, don't waste color ink unnecessarily. It can be changed from the front menu).
The downside is the cost of the ink, but the XXL ones last for many prints, it is stated as 250/500/800 for regular, XL, and XXL respectively - to be updated.
