    It does what it says. If you are going to connect less than 3 fans, then make sure to use the plug with the 4 pins on at least one fan, as your motherboard will only "read" the fan speeds from this fan

    I have an ASUS TUF Gaming B560M-Plus Wifi motherboard, which means I have 4 fan headers: CPU, CPU_OPT fan, and 2 case fan headers. Having a case that can accommodate up to 4 additional fans in addition to the 2 in the AIO is not that great. But with this adapter, all 3 fans run on a single header connection, leaving the last one for the rear fan. It's perfect! It works great and the cable itself is of high quality everywhere. I definitely recommend it if you lack connections for fans or other components.
