  It was installed on a Transalp 650. Initially placed on the handlebar. It left marks on the throttle. I had to change its position and without tightening the clamps and screws enough, they jumped off, resulting in not being able to unscrew it at all. I had to break the base that attaches to the handlebar and put my own base on the factory rails.
  It could definitely be cheaper. Around €10 would have been fine.
