I am making this comment after 1.5 years of having the shoes..... The shoe is incredible.... I have taken them to the mountains, to the field, to the tar tar, I have run with them on dry and wet roads, at the gym, everywhere... I have had them for so long and I have really put them through a lot and they still look brand new....

My competitive-training shoe for six years was the Hoka Speedgoat 3,4.
The Trabuco Max has better grip compared to the Speedgoat 4, even on wet and rocky terrain. Specifically, I tested them on Mount Hymettus during a rainy training session.
The Asics technology significantly surpasses the grip of the VIbram Microgrip.
The foot strikes on descents are particularly precise, allowing you to develop speed and slow down quickly, the sole "sticks to the ground."
It gives the feeling of a shoe with a sturdy "platform."
The lacing system is convenient.

The Trabuco Max is more durable than the Speedgoat 4 and will last more kilometers.
It is less cushioned than the Speedgoat.

I have tried several shoe brands over the years of trail running. One thing I have to say is that this shoe stopped the knee pain for me. I highly recommend it to anyone of a certain age like myself ;p
Edit: After participating in Mount Taygetus, I have to mention that the shoe requires attention on technical terrains, due to the height of the sole, the ankle easily twists, and the laces loosen on steep descents. However, it remains top-notch in my opinion.

I found them at 102€. Soft, lightweight with very good grip. Excellent shoes!! For running and trekking workouts, as well as everyday use. Only maybe the tongue is somewhat big as mentioned in other reviews, but it's not something that prevents their purchase.

Asics. The top in athletic footwear for my own foot.
This particular one is among the best I have worn.

The shoe has the timeless guarantee that Asics has, with a special shock-absorbing character. 1. Incredible shock absorption, resulting in energy return and the ability to cover longer distances.
2. Soft. The sole bends perfectly, maintaining a natural movement of the foot throughout the activity.
3. Excellent grip on trails with steep slopes and loose terrain.
4. Good fit.
5. Discreet but excellent protection for the toes and heel.
6. Lock Lace system instead of laces.
7. Rock plate for protection against sharp rocks and roots.

NEGATIVES:
1. The large tongue. Due to the pocket for hiding the lock lace, the tongue is visibly bulky. Fortunately, this does not affect running at all, only the aesthetic aspect.
