The Drift Evo LB29 by Caberg is a full face helmet, which protects the entire head and jaw. For this reason, this type of helmet is considered the safest and most durable for both travel and city rides. It is made of composite fibre, that is, from synthetic fibers that make it flexible and resistant to shock absorption. It fastens with a double d ring, also known as a ring. It is the safest and most reliable fastening, but it requires both hands to tie. The helmet has European safety certification "ECE 22.05", which ensures that the helmet is tested for drop, impact, and object penetration. The package includes an anti-fog film, an additional accessory for the helmet visor that prevents it from fogging up. It is placed on the inner side of the helmet and is useful during the winter months. Additionally, it features a sun visor, which is an internal sunshade film, like glass, for protection from the sun.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
The helmet is very high quality and beautiful. Second CABERG I buy!
The fact that the anti-fog visor is included is a plus.
Also, very positive that it has a lever that pushes the visor forward with a click, so that fresh air enters the helmet and helps prevent fogging.
The sun visor is not as dark as the ls2 (stream evo) helmet I had. It provides satisfactory visibility in the sun. It's like wearing sunglasses that are slightly tinted.
The air vents work perfectly.
In terms of visibility, it's awesome... it has a very wide field of vision.
The padding has a texture like alcantara leather. It feels very pleasant on the skin.
In terms of aerodynamic noise, I can say for now that it doesn't make as much noise until 120-130 km/h. Especially with the top air vent closed. Compared to the ls2, it's completely silent, to be honest, and that one drives you crazy.
Its downside (which I imagine will improve) is that the opening to put your head in is very small. So, even though I wear a medium size, especially with the chinstrap, I struggle to put it on and take it off. But once I wear it, it fits just right.
There will be an update after a reasonable amount of time!
Update: while in my previous helmet, the anti-fog visor caused me problems (couldn't see well because the lights reflected too intensely, reflections caused by anti-fog visors as far as I know), in this one, it's much better. The helmet creates minimal aerodynamic noise, and if you close the top air vent (at higher speeds), then you only feel the sound of the air on the side, not intensely enough to be annoying.
The air vents provide satisfactory cooling.
It overflows with quality. It's beautiful and honestly... worth every euro I paid for it (at 199 euros). I consider it a top-notch helmet!
Very nice helmet and quite lightweight! The pads have a nice feel to the touch and all the materials seem to be of good quality. The visibility of the helmet is excellent, I was riding my motorcycle leaving the store and besides the tightness on my face, I didn't even realize I was wearing a helmet... with the closed air vents, there was no noise at all or it was minimal. It doesn't restrict neck movement at all and the fit on the head is very good. The only negative thing is that when I slightly open the helmet, the problem won't exist 99% of the time, but when I take it off, it puts excessive pressure on my ears. The back part is somewhat closed, resulting in a lot of pressure during removal to the point of causing pain... I had to remove the chin strap to create a little more space until it opens
