Perfect for keychains. Keys definitely won't come off (especially if you pass them through both chambers of the carabiner). It's very convenient for removing/attaching rings with keys (e.g. for your car when you don't want to carry them together). The color is very nice, matte, but it fades with use, which I expected. I think if someone doesn't have MANY keys, it's better to get size 3 (this one is size 4), because this one is a bit bigger.
