The Tour X4 Depart by Arai is a on-off helmet, that is, a combination of full-face and motocross helmet. It has a smaller chin and visor than the motocross helmet but is heavier. It is made of composite fibre, that is, from synthetic fibers that make it flexible and resistant to shock absorption. It fastens with a double d ring, also known as a ring. It is the safest and most reliable fastening, but it requires both hands to tie. The helmet has European safety certification "ECE 22.05", which ensures that the helmet is tested for drop, impact, and object penetration. It is pinlock ready, which means that there is the possibility of installing an additional accessory for the visor that helps to prevent fogging during the winter months. The anti-fog film is not included in the package.
