The aim of this book is to draw the attention of those involved in financial accounting and reporting of businesses to the latest developments regarding the ethical framework of professional practice and behavior, as well as to introduce basic concepts and practical issues to trainees and practicing accountants that professionals should not and cannot ignore without consequences. It should be noted that only the Institute of Certified Public Accountants has issued a code of ethics for professional accountants in Greece, while for other professional accountants, the relevant legislation and regulations of the Chamber of Commerce apply. All this relevant legislation is included in the book.
