Homer - what other name can we find to name the poet of the Odyssey, whom no philologist today believes is the same as the poet of the Iliad?
- perhaps he is the first to invent the cinematic technique, the breaking of the monotonous flow of events with "flashbacks", with a real poetic order of events, denying and overturning the natural order.
Almost ten years have passed since Odysseus conquered the "sacred citadel" of Troy, the ten years we know it will take for him to return home.
All the others, those who took part in the Trojan War and survived, are in their homeland, their adventure is over. Only Odysseus's continues.
