This is the same sunscreen "Apivita Bee Sun Safe Tinted Anti-Spot & Anti-Age Face Cream" just in a new color (Golden). I have already written my review for the current Tinted version, so I will rewrite it and then mention the new color at the end:
+ It is both a sunscreen and a face cream in one.
+ It has a neutral scent, it doesn't remind you that you're wearing sunscreen.
+ It spreads very easily, it doesn't leave any greasiness or annoying white residue.
+ I can apply it comfortably around my eyes and it doesn't sting, unlike the frezyderm one which causes discomfort!
+ It leaves my face with a nice glow, neither completely matte nor oily.
+ I used it after a laser treatment on my face, which requires serious sun protection, and it protected the "damage" from sun exposure perfectly fine.
Now, as for the new color, it is considerably better, more natural and darker than the regular Tinted version, which you can only use in winter or on very fair skin tones. They probably named it Golden because it gives a more exotic and sun-kissed color to the face, and even though it's still winter with rain (March), it looks very nice and not "foreign" at all. I think Apivita should have released a darker shade, it was a very correct move since other companies already have different shades like light, medium, dark, etc.
- I will make a small observation as a negative point, while as I have mentioned in the other 2 reviews, both the regular sunscreen and the tinted one don't sting at all in the eyes, with this one (golden) I feel a slight discomfort but I'm not yet sure. I will wear it for a while and I will come back with an update on this matter.
If you have a blemish, stay away from this sunscreen, it not only didn't help with protection but made it worse. At first, when I noticed that the blemish was getting bigger even when I wasn't in direct contact with the sun, I tried to understand what was happening. As soon as I stopped using the product, the condition improved. I had bought both the golden and tinted shades. I don't know what to do with them... It feels heavy, dries like heavy powder. You can't reapply it every 3 hours because it drags the already powdered sunscreen. The pimples got even worse. Truly disappointed. Out of desperation, I use them on my body at the beach, mixing them with a white sunscreen that I have.
This particular product has a heavy texture (probably due to the price) and is quite dark for fair skin tones. Otherwise, the sunscreen is satisfactory, but I prefer the equivalent product without color.
I confirm once again that I do not like Apivita products. The shade of the sunscreen is very dark (okay, maybe this is not a flaw for a more tanned complexion), but it is not at all stable and does not leave a nice feeling on the face. Every time I wash my hands during the day, brown spots come off because I may have touched my face... I have used numerous tinted sunscreens and I have never encountered this problem before.
I used la Roche for years and nd I was used of high coverage and couldn’t find any with the same coverage until a pharmacist recommended me this one and gave me samples of the golden aswel. I love it, it covers my spots and my skin is glowing.
I had tried a sample a few years ago and I was satisfied, but now that I made the purchase, I have a completely different opinion. It is very dark in color and I have a fairly dark complexion, it does not spread easily, resulting in leaving marks. Only when I dab it with a sponge does something happen... Lastly, I have oily skin and it makes me shine incredibly.
The best one I have found. I am fair-skinned and my freckles don't fade, while my husband's very dark freckle faded when he used this amazing cream every day. Now I am going to buy it again in a different color to try a darker shade
This is a tinted sunscreen ideal for dark-skinned individuals. As a dark-skinned person, it provided good coverage for me. The color and the glow it leaves are nice. You need to apply it well on the skin, with caution because a little more quantity comes out of the tube. It leaves a powdery feeling. It irritated my eyes a little. Now, I don't know if it will drip in case I sweat. However, it absorbs quickly without leaving any marks and it feels like it has no scent (very discreet). It appears dark at first, but once it dries, it becomes uniform in color.
