This book studies the Orff music and movement education and is addressed to every educator who wishes to learn about it and utilize it in their work. The Orff music and movement education inherently possesses the ability to evolve, to be updated over time, and to adapt to different contexts so that it can function within the historical framework of each cultural and social setting.

The book consists of two parts. The first part serves as a starting point and provides a historical overview with an intention to view the present from the past. In the second part, the destination, the principles, means, and methods of content formation are described, and a teaching approach is analyzed that can support the Orff music and movement education in practice.

The ultimate goal of this edition is to contribute, on one hand, to the formation of a personal way of thinking for each educator who wishes to engage with this subject, and on the other hand, to the creation of a meaningful relationship with the Orff music and movement education.
