A pleasant surprise is these particular headphones when first worn. Comfortable for extended use, with sound calibrated to "cleaner paths" rather than the familiar bass-heavy sound I was used to from the company's headphones. Their sound is not like the more expensive version, but the differences are not significant. I would like them to cost 5-10 euros less and that is why I give them 4 stars. Purchase both the V2 and V2 X for review.
Positives...
Good passive noise isolation, with the X being slightly better.
Very lightweight and comfortable for hours of gaming.
Very good microphone for the price.
Negatives... which are partly expected for their price.
Both have low-quality plastic.
Poor quality leather on the ear cushions and headband for the X, and slightly better fabric for the V2, but both are shallow.
Poor quality volume potentiometer with a lot of noise and disproportionate volume increase. I don't see it lasting long if it already has so many issues.
Unacceptable rubber cable for the X, and a more flexible fabric cable for the V2, but still no magnetic shielding or noise isolation when it touches or rubs against something, you can hear it in the left ear cup.
Adjusting the headset is a joke... one is hard, the other is soft, it goes wherever it wants.
Both have below-average sound with slow drivers that struggle with fast transitions, poor imaging that limits it to left or right, no depth or range, and no separation between notes. Technically, they are headphones at a 30-40 Euro level, so nothing unexpected.
The sound signature for both is V-shaped, with excessive bass that bleeds into the unfortunate mids, and overly pronounced highs for the V2, and slightly smoother highs for the V2X.
Result? For their price, they are a very good choice because they are very comfortable, have good passive noise isolation, and a decent microphone. Now, if you were expecting sound on the level of the Logitech ProX 2 light speed or the Audeze Maxwell, you are way off. In fact, headphones that are not gaming headsets like the AKG 371, 361, DT770, DT 700, and 560s are far superior for gaming. So don't expect miracles at this cost.
Very good sound as far as the bass is concerned but not so clear. Also, the microphone is satisfactory. However, for its price, it is a very good choice.
Amazing. Its sound is awesome and it has a very nice bass. No problem with the microphone and it also has a button to cancel it as well as a volume control for the speakers.
If you find it WITH shipping (Final price) at 30-32 it's okay for this price. No reason for more. The microphone is decent enough (8/10) the sound is average to good (7/10) it lacks in the high frequencies in some frequencies. For a price of 30 and below, it's fine though.
Everything is great when you consider these are so cheap. They can feel a bit sharp in places, and it took some work to get them to work right on my PC (sound only came out of the left earphone) but overall these are great and I'd recommend them if you want something reliable that won't kill your wallet.
I just got the headphones and I have them for a day.
Positive:
- Bass and Kick for the money very good
- Satisfactory volume
- Microphone that beats even headphones over 70€+
- Comfortable in the ears for many hours of gaming, I have small ears and they cover them perfectly and are not tiring at all
- The potentiometer is good and a nice detail is the mute button for the mic on the back of the left side of the headphones
Negative:
- Awkward and problematic software
- It took me 1 hour to find the activation code for the headphones to activate the surround sound 7.1, I had to contact RazerID site support.
For gaming they are very good and precise. Overall, for their price, they are very competitive and I would recommend them to someone who wants something good with little money to spend, a very good suggestion from Razer!
Edit: With Surround Sound 7.1 activated, you have better performance in bass and overall music quality (mainly recommended for trap songs and not just for gaming, but whatever each person wants)
They are very good headphones for gaming, but not for everyday use, as they have a bit too much bass and average everything else. After a while of use, when I take them off, my head hurts a little because they have a strong clamping force (they press on your head from the sides), even though I have tried to loosen them (by keeping them stretched out for a while, "wearing" them in a box). Their cable is also relatively short (~1.2m), so I got another cable to connect them to my PC. They have fallen from my desk to the floor many times and haven't suffered any damage in the 6 months that I have had them, and for the price of 42 euros that I bought them for, I believe they are worth it
An economical choice for a gaming headset from Razer.
Very good sound and satisfactory isolation.
Decent sound on the Mic, comfortable ear cushions, and build material corresponding to its price.
7.1 surround through the application and connects to any device with a 3.5 audio jack port
Overall good headphones, embracing the ear, with pretty good sound quality for both headphones and microphone. For the price they are (42 when I got them) they are great. I no longer do hours of extensive gaming to be able to judge how they are over time but they are quite comfortable in the first few hours of use. The only negative thing I find is that the cable is quite thin and I don't know how it will hold up over time, it definitely needs attention and good handling.
I have had these headphones for about six months. The sound and quality are comparable to the previous razer 7.1. HOWEVER, it is not possible that after such a short period of time, with no mistreatment and continuous use, the microphone stops working and the plug connection is not so stable.
I bought them for general use and not so much for gaming. They have very good bass but lack a bit in the treble. The quality is excellent as well as their fit. After 2 hours of use, they didn't tire me at all. I haven't used the microphone yet, so I can't give an opinion on that.
Extremely good headphones for their price, very comfortable and lightweight. The sound is very clear and powerful, and they perform very well in FPS games. The only negative aspect is their microphone, but overall they offer great value for money!! Headset

I have had these headphones for at least 3-4 years. They still look like new, their construction is very good and they are sturdy. The sound is very good and the price is also low for such good headphones. I have no complaints and it is definitely a product that is worth 100% of its money.
My favorite headphones out of all I have tried so far, definitely among the most comfortable and they seem more durable than those with a plastic frame.
Perfect headset with clear sound, Very good microphone, Sturdy construction and very comfortable on the head even after many hours of use talking on Discord, I highly recommend them, there are no better ones at this price.
After a week of use, I have to say that they are the most value for money headphones on the market. I tried them in CS:GO and could hear exactly where people were coming from. They are amazing for people with small heads.
Edit: Do not use the cable extension if there is no reason because it distorts the sound quality.
I bought them for 55€ from Public, they are average I can say no to the issue of quality but to the issue of sound. They are okay at low volumes but if you want intensity, from the second level it has and as much as you increase it, the sound scratches a lot. The microphone and the insulation you have are very good.
Strong and good orientation in first-person games.
The 7.1 is NOT for gaming, not even as a joke. You can't understand where each sound is coming from if you use it.
I remove one star because when I have the volume slightly higher than usual, the sound somehow goes through the microphone and others in the group chat can hear the sound from my game, which is annoying.
I have had them for about 2 years mainly for online calls and less for gaming.
Negatives: The main issue is that after 2-3 hours you feel a lot of pressure on your head. Also, the quality of the microphone is a bit average.
Positives: It has satisfactory noise cancelling while the sound for gaming is very good.
Personally, I don't know if I would buy them again, however, for their price, I find them worth it.
I bought the headphones 6 months ago because I wanted something to be able to talk while playing on ps4 with friends. The construction is very sturdy and although I was afraid of the height extensions when I bought them, as I had heard that there have been pieces in which the left or right side is slightly defective. No problem though. The cushions are very comfortable for long gaming sessions. The only negative thing I would say is that in the summer your ears become like a sauna. Also, for those who want them for PC gaming, of course the packaging includes a special accessory to split the plug into one for the microphone and another for the sound. Finally, the microphone is very nice, just keep in mind that in high "notes" your voice will cut off a little to whoever you're talking to. In my opinion, worth every cent.
They lasted a maximum of 1 month, after that the sound simply got destroyed and reduced by 90%. I haven't dropped them, I haven't gotten them wet, I can't understand what happened.
These specific headphones were the first good headphones I bought as I wanted to have a good gaming setup. I went with these because I trust Razer and I was not disappointed. They have very good sound, good bass, and good sound isolation. The only negative is that during long hours of use (2+ hours), you feel pressure on your head. However, if you take a 5-minute break, for example, you don't feel the pressure as strongly. I bought these for 60+ euros and now at this price, they are value for money for a very good and relatively budget-friendly gaming headset. The microphone is also quite good.
NEGATIVE: It doesn't make good contact on the left earphone, sometimes the sound cuts off. It can be fixed with pressure on the sound lever, but for someone it might be a deal breaker.
OTHER: For budget headphones they are worth it. Sound isolation is not absolute, which someone might call good, while others might call it bad. However, it is noticeable.
The foam of the microphone (the black cover) comes off sometimes (1 time every 2 months~), but it's not that bad either.
I've had them for 1.5 years, the leather holds up. The cushions don't "break". The lack of RGB is a positive for me. I haven't needed duct tape for anything (yet).
5/5 with some reservations, but it's the budget line of BlackShark, so you get what you pay for.
(Don't forget to register the product online for the warranty.)
I have had these specific headphones for 2 years. For their price, they are one of the best headphones and are great for gaming. I use them for 6 hours a day and they are very comfortable to use, they just need some attention
In general, good headphones. I got them for 60 euros but I think a price around 45-50 euros would be more representative. What I would like to share is that my cable is driving me crazy... it constantly gets tangled, even when I wear them without touching or moving it.
Well, sometimes the sound of these headphones gets a bit robotic and you hear everything as if it's distorted. They are really good for 55 euros. Of course, we are a bit worried about the build quality with those little metal pieces for adjusting the height, we're afraid they might come loose or break. They have good sound and a good microphone, and good bass too. For example, if you switch from cheap 30 euro headphones to these, you'll notice a big difference.
