The Russell Hobbs RH 19270-56 steamer is ideal for quick and healthy cooking with steam, preserving all the nutrients and vitamins of the food. Thus, in every meal you prepare, the flavor and vitamins will always be retained.
The three levels offer you a large capacity with a total volume of 9 liters, for preparing your vegetables, meat, fish, eggs, or rice.
Each level has a capacity of 3 liters, and they can offer parallel cooking of up to 3 different preparations. A rice cooking bowl with a capacity of 1 liter is also included. The plastic containers are BPA Free, for even healthier cooking.
The base is made of stainless steel, for greater durability and hygiene. It also features a water level indicator, so you can monitor at any time if additional water needs to be added, as well as two water supply inlets on the sides of the base, for refilling water without moving the steamer.
Thanks to the switch with a duration of up to 60 minutes, you no longer need to monitor your cooking. It features a power indicator light, so you can always check if the device is on. It also has an audible signal that notifies you when the cooking cycle is complete.
Storing the device and bowls is very easy, by placing one inside the other, and all together on the base.

It is worth the money and more. It is well-made and quiet. You can barely hear it. It is very practical, with 3 containers that fit inside each other for easy storage, and they are numbered (e.g. 1, 2, 3) for easy placement. It also has a rice bowl, and if you find a nice variety of rice, the results are better than a restaurant's. Overall, it fully covers your needs with very little money.
Negatives:
Although it has a water indicator, you cannot see the water draining into the inner container, but it is only a problem if you use it for more than 40 minutes. It also does not have an on-off button, but I have connected it to a power strip with a switch and can turn it off from there.
A very honest purchase!

At times, I have seen the same model on sale for even 25-30 €. If someone is not in a hurry to buy it, they can look for deals. The price difference is not significant, of course, but the market is constantly evolving. After all, almost all household appliances are rebranded.
After just a few uses (3-4), the coil started losing its white coating and turning black, as if it had burned. At first, I didn't know if this was normal or not. After about 10 more uses, the coil ended up looking like it does in the photo and I noticed that the vapor smelled strange, like burnt. I contacted customer service and they told me to send the device at my own expense. However, it would cost me about 10 to 15 euros to send it and the same amount for them to return it (which is about how much I paid for the device). I regret this purchase because I had actually read many good reviews.
P.S.: The few times I managed to use it, I was relatively satisfied.
I am a man and I had to change my diet for health reasons. I have been using it for 2 years without any problems and without much care. I have started eating vegetables without even realizing it. For chicken, it's the best. I prepare it in the evening, go to sleep, it shuts off on its own, and in the morning my meal for the day is ready.. what else can it do, it's a steamer.
Bad is not what you call it but it takes much longer to cook than a pot with water and a bamboo steamer on top. I continue to cook in the bamboo steamer.
I couldn't believe my eyes the first time I used it, I waited half an hour to see steam in the baskets. Until I noticed that almost all the steam was escaping except for the 2 holes it has to fill with water when it runs out... I had to temporarily close them with aluminum foil and only then did I see the steam being pushed into the baskets. Unbelievable!
I have a Tefal steamer at my country house and it does its job perfectly. No comparison to this piece of junk. I regret not getting the same Tefal... I should have been more careful...
It's been almost two years since I have it, but I don't cook very often in it (at most once a month) and the timer has already broken!!!
I bought it solely based on the high ratings, but in the end, it's not worth it. Luckily, it wasn't expensive.
With the first use, it filled with salt.
I wouldn't recommend cooking fish because after use, the container smells for several days. It's better to use it in the oven with oil and spices.
Cooking chicken in 15 minutes is a joke. Chicken should be cooked very well as it may have salmonella. At least 20 to 30 minutes, it is equally juicy and well-cooked.
It's very difficult to wash the containers. You have to scrub for a long time and it only cleans with hot water.
Only the first container cooks the food well. If you put it in the second or third one, it takes more time.
I recommend cleaning the salt with citric acid (supermarket) instead of vinegar. Citric acid cleans very well and doesn't leave unpleasant smells like vinegar. It dissolves in hot water.
The appearance is old-fashioned.
After about 4 years, I have to say the following! 1: It is definitely worth its money! 2: If you learn the exact cooking times for each food, everything will turn out great! 3: For those of you complaining about the resistance (it's not the resistance that burns, but the excessive salt in the water supply), we clean it with a little vinegar and water (let the vinegar sit for a few hours or run it with water + vinegar). Also, you can add a little more water than the indicator shows so that it doesn't run out of water. 5: Definitely, with more money, you get something better.
I have had it for 4 months, it cooks perfectly. The only thing that has worn off is the external coating of the resistance that comes into contact with water without causing any issues. It is worth its money, I recommend it.
Quite good for its price, however if you put all three levels, even in half an hour on steam, the broccoli is still hard. Of course, I leave gaps in the holes so that the steam reaches the top, meaning I don't fill the floors.
It cooks healthy, quickly, and economically in steam. If this doesn't suit you and you're more into classic cooking, you're probably looking at the wrong product.
A major flaw is the lack of a "drip tray" for collecting liquids in the upper compartment. When cooking two dishes together (e.g. meat and fish), the liquids from the upper dish fall onto the lower one. If you have fish on top, the meat juices and froth are drawn down by the vegetables, while if you have vegetables on top, the fish turns... green. Unacceptable construction, I honestly regretted it!
Definitely worth the money, it cooks quickly and has been very convenient for me. As for the salts, the truth is that it requires frequent cleaning, but they disappear with vinegar and water. I clean it every 2 uses and it looks like new!
Bad choice because the heating component that produces steam fades, resulting in potentially hazardous substances being transferred to food. Makeshift construction justifies the low purchase price. It should not be sold normally.
For silly little things, I didn't give it 5 stars! Like: the basket gets stained from carrots, the resistance catches salt, and so on.. but otherwise, I bought it hesitantly based on the reviews, however, for introducing solid foods to my baby, it is excellent! Fast and efficient!!! Well done Russell Hobbs!!!
I will first say that I would like the cable to be longer. However, I put it under the extractor to work.
So far, I have only made vegetables and rice. The carrot, pumpkin, and beet stained the basket. I bought it primarily for baby food, so the color doesn't bother me.
If anything changes, I will come back.
It is the first steam cooker we bought, we chose it firstly because our friends had it and secondly from the comments here. They bought it for our baby but we cook for everyone.
I also bought this one and I have to say the following: for its price, it is good. So far, I have made broccoli, cauliflower, onions, potatoes, carrots, chicken fillet, and used all three levels simultaneously. Of course, depending on the time, I took out what was ready. Overall, it does the job perfectly and it is cleverly designed with the collection and recycling of steam water in the container.
What I didn't like: it has a short cord, indeed some of the baskets get stained, I never managed to cook rice as it took ten hours until I finally boiled it properly. For me, the bowl is useless.
General observations: I make sure to use filtered water (I have a faucet filter), and I try to avoid recycling the water from the food going downwards through the resistance as much as possible, in order to protect the resistance as much as possible. I saw in some photos and comments that this can be an issue.
Overall, it is a good steam cooker that will satisfy you with its results and the quality is proportional to the price.
Also, non-carcinogenic plastics are important to me.

I have had it for 1.5 years and it has accompanied me even during a move. It is very easy to use and worth it if you don't know how to cook that much. I recommend it, I have been very satisfied.
Flawless, especially for its price. It easily prepares meals and makes them very tasty! The plastic parts are also very easy to clean and the timer is very convenient. In combination with the oil economy and healthy diet, it is a super purchase!
I have bought the steam cooker twice. The first time it lasted 4 years but the heating element burned out because I couldn't find a way to clean it. Because it is a very good value for money steam cooker, I decided to buy the same one again and after reading other users' comments, I tried cleaning the heating element with distilled water and vinegar! It really is the best tip to keep it always clean. I fill the tank up with distilled water until the entire heating element is covered, add enough white vinegar and leave it overnight. In the morning, I scrub the heating element with a soft sponge and all the brown (burned) residue comes off.
We use it for vegetables, eggs, chicken, fish, and we also cook legumes in the rice compartment. Some vegetables (carrots, beets) leave stains but personally, it doesn't bother me.
The only downside is that the salts discolored the baskets from the first use and the moment you put vegetables in them.. but otherwise it's worth its money because it cooks quickly and easily
The best purchase ever!! Yes, it removes salt from the very first use, but with very little white vinegar in every cooking, it always comes out spotless and without salt. The carrot baskets may become more colored, but it's not such a problem! It cooks delicious meals for my baby very quickly and easily!!
Good for its price and cooking quality. The negatives are that the timer gets stuck for me and doesn't count accurately. For example, when I set it for 20 minutes, it finishes in 14 minutes.
I initially bought it to cook for the baby because vegetables don't lose their nutrients in steam, and in the end, I cook everything!
I use it almost exclusively for preparing baby meals. Within 20 minutes, I have food for the baby and I don't have to worry about it sticking or being on top, as it works with a timer. It is also much more economical than a baby steamer. Quite good quality construction.
The only negatives are that it collects quite a bit of salt from the first uses and that the baskets turn yellow from vegetables like carrots and squash.
The use of it is very good, just know that it has three numbered baskets 1-2-3 and they go in order. You can't put 2 or 3 first. So if you use them all together for cooking and you need to lower 3 for example, you have to empty its contents into 1 or 2, since we usually put the ones that need more time to cook (carrots, potatoes, beets, etc. for vegetables) at the bottom. Other than that, it's fine, it's easy to clean and cooks nicely. Recommended.
I have had it since mid-January (so about 3 months now). I have enjoyed it a lot and it cooks very deliciously, even beets. Daily use please!

4) All types of rice except for brown, I particularly highlight the tastiness of jasmine and basmati 5/5
5) Beets (I don't throw away the water collected here, but I use it to add to mashed potatoes!) 5/5
6) Beet greens 5/5 (so tasty that they don't even need salt)
7) Sweet potatoes 4/5 (for some reason, they easily turn black)

Negatives/problems:
- The timer sometimes stops and no longer resets, especially if it's unplugged.
- The containers have turned yellow.
- The heating element easily gets filled with salt and needs to be soaked in ionized water and vinegar for about 12 hours every week, followed by cleaning with a toothbrush to reach its maximum performance.
- The times stated in the manual do not correspond to reality, especially because it takes time for it to reach temperature and for the steam to come out. I don't even look at it anymore, I base the times on my experience.
4 stars for the negatives I mentioned
For potatoes, vegetables, and rice that it cooks, it is super. Recommended use under the hood. The instruction book has times for various foods. The cord is short, it could be 10,20cm longer. As I read from another user, with a little vinegar in the water, it doesn't catch any salts in the bucket at all.
