Reading many reviews expressing concern about this specific product from Chilly's, I must say that firstly, it is one of the most beautiful thermoses for use with hot or cold drinks. However, many people talk about leakage when it comes to hot drinks. Having conducted many tests involving hot espresso or cappuccino or similar lattes, I must say that as long as the product's instructions are followed, there is no problem whatsoever. The interesting thing is that everyone knows, as it is enclosed in a paper with instructions and the instruction for hot drinks is also written on the lid from the inside, but it is not clearly stated, and clearly stated in many reviews, that we are not allowed to close the lid for drinks at 90⁰C! Then, for drinks above 60⁰C, we can close the lid but not close the rotating spout. These instructions are written and clear!! If there is any leakage, it is due to mishandling. Today's cappuccino drink, measured at 56⁰C, I closed it again without the slightest leakage from the rotating spout. The hotter the drink, the fewer movements (such as placing it horizontally, for example) are allowed. It is a thermos cup that does its job very well, provided these simple instructions are followed. The reason I mention my experience in detail is that there are moments when it is impossible for someone who wants (as is natural) the most beautiful option like this thermos cup to find clear information, and usually they will take a risk to buy it. Don't be afraid if you are careful in following the rules to the smallest detail.. Needless to say, it has a significant temperature retention time and the wonderful spout for freddo that you can use with a reusable straw is excellent. I highly recommend it, with the condition of clearly following the manufacturer's terms of use
For its money, simply no! Basically, the product does not even do the basics of keeping warm, like not dripping! Within 2 weeks, it started to have leaks (which is unacceptable when Chilly's advertises it as 100% leak-proof). Also, the non-slip base started to come off.
The best thermos for hot or cold products. One thing I will say: I put ice cubes and found them the next ... I put ice cream and it didn't melt.
From what it seems, it only sells the name, in 4 hours the ice cubes I had put to test it melted while it was closed, I opened it and it was water. Other than that, only the design is worth it.
The product is good but it doesn't close well if it falls or if you turn it upside down and it leaks coffee, it maintains a good temperature
It keeps the temperature perfectly, providing good insulation with the external environment for at least 2 hours.
Afterwards, the insulation continues to work but with gradual loss, and at around 6 hours (with the lid open) the internal liquid beverage has reached room temperature.
It does not leak and never drips.
It is specifically designed for cold beverages and a straw. I don't think it is as suitable for hot beverages due to the size and shape of the lid.

- durable against drops (I have had it for 2 months, it has fallen a few times, yet it has not scratched, lost color, or damaged the metal from the falls)

- does not slip because it has a silicone bottom
Negative points to consider:
- if you do not follow the instructions, there may be leaks. Especially for hot beverages, if they have a very high temperature, there will be leaks and a little liquid will be ejected when opening the spout [the problem is solved if you wait to close the lid after the beverage cools down a bit]
- difficult at first to clean the lid well due to its construction [this is solved if you carefully read the instructions for disassembly]
Would I recommend someone to buy it? In general, yes, if they want to spend a little extra to have a beautiful thermos that also does its job.
Practical, keeps the cold coffee for many hours (definitely 2-3 hours). It is very easy to clean. It is a bit wide and may not fit in some car cup holders.
The lid smells like plastic from the first day, and it doesn't seem to go away. It keeps warm very satisfactorily in the winter and cold in the summer. But this plastic smell is very annoying
I bought it because of the design and color, and because I had a good experience with the previous version, except for the leaks. This particular one, with the new design to avoid leaks, completely disappointed me. Coffee and water (or whatever else is inside) in all the bags, in the car, on the beach towels. I didn't return it because Chillys doesn't advertise it as completely leak proof, but it's sitting in the cupboard and I'm just crying over the 40 euros I spent.
The best coffee cup for freddo! I went from the Estia 500ml, which, at 15 euros, was leaking after 1.5 years, and in the end, I paid double the price and got this one after a friend's recommendation. Beautiful, durable, and the ice cubes don't melt AT ALL! Ideal for those who make coffee and drink it slowly for 1-2 hours, not in one go.
I learned the following after receiving it and reading the instructions: For those referring to hot beverages, you have chosen the wrong one. It is prohibited to place something that is at 90 degrees or higher (meaning hot). If you do place it, you must NOT put the lid on until the temperature drops, and then seal it - after 15-20 minutes. It can keep lukewarm or slightly warm beverages warm/hot with no problem, but it loses heat, so be a little careful.
I have only tried it for cold drinks.
It's worth its money.
It literally keeps the temperature all day and the coffee doesn't spill during transportation. I throw it in my beach bag (full) and go for a swim.

Negatives
1) It leaks a lot..... if it is not perfectly straight and does not move, it will start to leak. Resulting in either you or your bag being in a bad condition
2) The hole for drinking coffee does not help.... it is very small
I am trying to drink the hot beverage and it keeps dripping, it doesn't close well, I don't know what's wrong, but it's a shame. It's okay with cold drinks, but with hot drinks it leaks everywhere, a shame

I had initially tried an experiment to see if it would leak from somewhere before I put it in my new bag worth 130€.
What I wanted and trusted it...
The bag leaked, I was disappointed.
Such a waste of money...
I had also bought another one as a gift for my wife. 70€ down the drain...
It is completely useless for the hot drink I wanted to use it for.
You have to constantly keep it upright and in your hand to avoid leaks.
The only good thing about it is the design, meaning it's just for show.
I will use it as a coin box.

It keeps temperature well, but following all the instructions with testing in cold, warm, hot.... in the cold half of the coffee spilled on the road and in the hot half on my hand.... it doesn't leak if I just have it on my desk and it sits, so I am very happy. By the time I arrive, I have been soaked.
I deliberately bought the 500ml one to have a larger capacity because I had read about leaks. In a double espresso of about 70ml, and placing it upright in a side pocket of a bag, it drips without moving almost at all. The hot coffee after an hour is lukewarm to cold. If you follow the instructions that say the temperature of the liquid you put in should drop below 60 degrees to close the mouthpiece, after an hour the coffee is at room temperature. I have no opinion on cold because I haven't used it. Unacceptable product for 40 euros.

According to my experience, it does not seal well at all with hot French coffee. It has a significant leakage. You have to let it cool down enough to seal and avoid any leakage. Therefore, for the purpose I bought it for, to have hot coffee and not lukewarm, it is completely useless to me. On the positive side, the small round spout is a good feature.
For the amount of money it costs... it is unacceptable. It does not maintain temperature, meaning that in hot drinks it is like I have put it in a regular bamboo cup with a lid, let's say. After a while, it becomes lukewarm and in a couple of hours it is almost cold. As for the leaks that others have mentioned, it happened to me twice at the beginning, but then I didn't have any issues. But what can I do if it doesn't do its job, which is to keep it at the right temperature? Even with a thermos, in this cold, the ice cubes melted after a few hours. So, what will it do in the summer on the beach with 40 degrees? Honestly, I have another long stainless steel one with a simple plastic lid, and it kept the drink cold for endless hours in the summer!
The only positive thing is the nice design (but again, why is the lid gray and not in the colors of the cup??) and the fact that it is a thermos for both hot and cold, which is very convenient so you don't have to carry a hundred cups, but..
It has leaks in hot beverages, I don't even bother trying cold beverages, and it doesn't keep the temperature of the beverage for even two hours
It's not worth its money. It's an overpriced product. The lid leaks no matter how tight you close it. It requires disassembly of the lid almost every day for cleaning. The only positive thing is that it keeps the coffee hot. I wouldn't recommend it.
It keeps the coffee warm for several hours, but what's the point when half of it spills on the road. I wouldn't choose it again.
I have had it since January. I have tried it with both hot and cold beverages. It leaks all the time, even when it is in an upright position and slightly moved, for example, when walking and in hot temperatures (following the instructions) and in cold temperatures where it shouldn't. It is not worth its money at all. Every time I use it, it's a disaster! I even bought a new lid and still the same issues, so the overall construction is to blame. Even a promotional thermos I have keeps the temperature equally without any leaks!
I was very happy with a water bottle from the same company and I thought of getting this cup as a gift for my girlfriend. Unfortunately, it is not as good as I expected, mainly the lid seems more complicated than it should be, resulting in it not being as practical to use and difficult to clean. I find it difficult to "disassemble", for which even the instructions suggest using a knife, resulting in eating the plastic every time.
Other than that, it is excellent at keeping the temperature (both hot and cold) and it is beautiful with a nice texture.
Certainly, it is a quality that you understand as soon as you hold it. It is excellent in cold temperatures, but I haven't tried it in hot ones yet. Definitely consult the manual as it has instructions for hot temperatures.

As soon as you hold it, you realize that it is a high-quality product from a well-known series.
There is absolutely no leakage in cold beverages and it keeps the temperature at an exceptional degree.
In hot beverages, if the lid remains closed for a long time, it may have small leaks and it keeps the temperature fairly well overall (not like cold drinks).
Unfortunately, it retains some odors and even though I washed it twice, they didn't completely go away.
Overall, if you want a small thermos for limited use, it is good, slightly overpriced for what it offers.
Before I start, let me say that if there is leakage, it is due to the high temperatures of the contents. That is, if you pour the coffee into the thermos as soon as it is made in the coffee maker and close the lid, then there will be leakage. The correct use is to put the coffee in, put the lid on, and leave the spout open until you leave the house, about two to three minutes, just enough for the steam to escape.
Other than that, we are possibly talking about the highest quality thermos on the market. I put the coffee in at 7 am and until 12 pm when I finish it, it is still hot. As for cold drinks, I will just say that if you put ice inside, it can last for about 8 hours and it still won't have melted! Both my girlfriend and I have the coffee thermos and the water bottle, and we are very satisfied. Especially the water bottle is a must for the beach and vacations. As soon as they bring us water and coffee, we pour them directly into the Chilly's and for as long as we stay at the beach, we have ice-cold water and refreshing drinks!
I have been using it for a year and I have never noticed any leaks, even when I put it in my bag and it shakes a lot. The coffee remains cold at the beach even in the sun. After 10 hours of use for cold drinks, there may be some small ice cubes inside when I open it to wash it. Overall, very satisfied, I haven't noticed anything bad, the design is incredible. It's worth every last euro.
Visually it is nice, but it is not waterproof. I have tried putting water, tea (hot, lukewarm, and cold), and coffee (lukewarm) in it. In every case, it leaks. Small drops come out from the lid. In the case of water, it is not important, but in the case of tea and coffee, it stains everything. If I had known, I wouldn't have bought it. If you like the company, buy the corresponding screw-on bottle that is waterproof. The glass is only for flat surfaces, if it is on any incline (in a car, while moving, walking), then it leaks.
Certainly, that's a lot of money for a thermos! I don't know if the negatives that some people are saying here are true... I will say that it keeps my drinks hot or cold for as long as I need without any leaks... Anyway, how long does it take to consume 340 ml? I would say a maximum of 4 hours! The design is very nice and the size is very practical!

This particular thermos is overrated. I bought it solely for its size, as it is short and fits in my bag. The positives are its nice design and variety of colors. And the fact that it has a hole for a straw, as well as the fact that it is leak-proof for cold drinks.
The negatives are that:
1. It does not seal tightly for hot drinks, as the steam and pressure inside cause the thermos to lose heat.
2. When you open it to drink something hot, it splatters everywhere because it releases the accumulated pressure inside.
3. The flow is difficult to control, resulting in multiple burns.
4. After drinking, the hole is surrounded by liquid, so you have to constantly wipe it.
5. If you drink hot beverages with milk, such as lattes and cappuccinos, in order to clean it properly, you have to remove the lid because it retains milk inside. The negative aspect is that when you remove the lid (not just unscrew it), you have to apply force to separate it and at some point it will break. They do sell replacement parts, of course, but they cost 10€. So it's better to go for another thermos.
I won't say that I wasted 35€ because it's okay for cold drinks.
For cold drinks: 5/5
For hot drinks: 1/5
For hot drinks, by far the best thermos I have tried and own is the Emsa (or Tefal, which has the exact same one) with no leaks and almost half the price.
Also, for both hot and cold drinks with no leaks and a hole for a straw (I have this one too), there is the Wacaco Octaroma, which comes in various colors and sizes, and is again almost half the price of the Chillys.
