Quality Craftsmanship
EDIFIER has a long history in the audio industry. Each product undergoes a set of reliability testing criteria, and many testing requirements are higher than national standards to ensure quality.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can
report it here.
Guys, whoever has an issue with Windows 10, random disconnections when watching YouTube videos, etc.,
1) send an email to Edifier, describe the issue,
2) they will ask for proof of purchase, take a photo and send it,
3) they will ask for your address to send you a replacement, provide it to them,
4) wait for 2 weeks,
5) now you have 2 pairs of headphones, one brand new that works perfectly (because the issue has been resolved in the next version of the product and is known to Edifier) and send the old one to your ex.
edit: After almost 2 years, it works like the first day. The only issue is that the cushions got damaged due to misuse, BUT: with a phone call to the representative in Greece, they will send you a free replacement to your home*
(except for the shipping costs of 3 euros, which you can avoid if you are near Athens city center by picking them up directly from the store)
While they were working perfectly fine for a while, I made the mistake of letting my little one watch some videos with them on. Next thing I knew, the cushions were falling apart and the headphones were completely worn out. Since then, I've been on a wild goose chase trying to find replacement parts. The Greek distributor doesn't have any, and the global distributor only has white cushions (the headphones are black) that cost half or more of the price of the headphones themselves. Ordering from eBay means dealing with Chinese sellers (who are supposedly the only ones who have them) and waiting forever for them to arrive.
So, due to the nonexistent after-sales support, I won't be buying these again, at least not for Edifier products in general.
I've had them for about two weeks and I'm very satisfied. At the office to listen to music and a little radio for isolation from those around me. Nice sound, relatively good isolation from surrounding sounds. I didn't encounter any issues with the battery life.
What I was most afraid of was that since I wear glasses during my work, they might be too "tight" and press against the sides of my glasses.
On the contrary, they are very comfortable and now that it's gotten a bit cooler, they are indeed more comfortable to wear. At 38 degrees, they do warm you up a bit.
So 4/5 because I almost never give 5/5.
They were what I expected and a little better.
I got them for daily use, about 10 hours a day (and at the office). After 1 year, the microphone battery and sound are still excellent. The only complaint is that the outer layer of the faux leather of the memory foams has peeled off, and it cannot be repaired.
Very nice and convenient headphones. They isolate external sounds quite well and have a strong volume. They come with a microphone for mobile calls. Their use is mainly in the gym, purely for music and not calls. As for battery life, it's the best I've tried in this type of headphones. At this price, it's VFM. Highly recommended!!
Very nice and convenient headphones. They isolate external sounds quite well and have a fairly strong volume. They have a microphone for mobile calls. The only negative I find is that my ears sweat after half an hour or more of use. The battery is amazing, I forget to charge them.
I have been using them for a while to listen to music while walking. Although I don't have a comparison measure, I am satisfied with the sound quality. I was very impressed with the build quality. They have fallen down many times; in fact, once I slipped on the sidewalk and fell onto a concrete post, landing on the left earbud, and it barely got scratched. The cushions are still holding up; I try to wipe them after I sweat.
Personally, I use it with a cable on my PC, everything is fine until at some point the cable started losing sound in the last few months. However, here is the huge advantage of these headphones: I simply bought a new audio jack cable and replaced it since the connection with the headphones is modular!
Overall, I like the headphones, maybe the sound is a bit louder to the others next to me than I would like, but I generally recommend it!
Very reliable and nice headphones
They have very satisfactory insulation for their price
They can be connected with a cable to a computer without Bluetooth
They are the best choice for value for money, I recommend them to everyone
Edit: With the Edifier Connect app, you can choose one of the 4 equalizers. CLASSICS, POP, BLUES, or ROCK.
The headphones come automatically with Classics. Personally, I put it on Pop.
It also has some other functions such as automatically turning off if there is no sound or staying on. It has a timer to automatically turn off, the ability to change the device's name, select maximum sound volume (good for children), and best of all, self-correcting Bluetooth connectivity. Finally, you can reset it to its factory settings and it also has electronic user instructions, so you can recycle the paper.
The Bluetooth is amazing, there is no annoying sound like the older or cheaper wireless headphones.
Previous Review
Very good headphones and the sound is clear, although they have somewhat excessive bass for my taste. For the money I paid, I am satisfied, but I got them with points at 25 euros.
The positives are that the ear cushions are soft and the headphones are lightweight. You almost don't feel like you're wearing headphones.
They have a great battery, meaning with almost full use they last almost a week, maybe even more, I don't use them much. Good sound but a bit "flat", the bass is there if you use some EQ or turn on the bass boost (in windows).
The only negative: Never use them for serious gaming because there is a noticeable, for me, delay. Unless you have linux, there it seems they have done something better with bluetooth audio and the delay is minimal to non-existent, something like the lightspeed wireless products from logitech where even though they are wireless you don't notice a difference from wired.
GREAT WITH ME. I bought them when I was 18, now I am 23 and they have not suffered anything. The only "flaw" I can find is that in the last semester they have closed on their own 5-6 times without any particular reason. The most value for money wireless headphones BY FAR. Get them yesterday
Very satisfied with the Edifier headphones. Satisfactory sound, light on the head and not tiring, and they fit well. The Bluetooth connection does not disconnect and has a long range. And the battery life is long. The microphone usage is very good for communication.
For simple everyday use, a guaranteed product
I bought them at the beginning of 01/2023 with a few hours of daily operation (1 to 2). Gradually, about 2 months ago, the charging started to drop, now it simply doesn't charge anymore.
I have had them in my possession for about a month now. I am quite satisfied with their sound. The Bluetooth connectivity seems to be their main "weak point" because for example, yesterday for the first time it disconnected and reconnected on its own, resulting in the sound being transferred to the phone's speaker, a fact that I did not choose and did not want what I was listening to in my headphones to be heard by those around me for various reasons. Also, the first few times I used them, the Bluetooth connectivity was quite difficult as the phone could not detect the headphones at all, not even in the edifier app. Now fortunately they connect automatically to the phone and I find them directly in the app. The very positive aspects of the matter are the battery which even after several hours of use, drops slightly but also the sound is quite satisfactory and clear. Do not expect absolute noise cancelling with these headphones, however they are very comfortable even after hours of use without tiring the ear at all. They are worth buying but they are not for gamers, streamers, youtubers, etc. For simple, everyday use they are perfect!
VERY SATISFYING headphones! I have had them for about 2 weeks now and they have no damage. The sound is very good, the build quality is quite good, and they isolate the sound almost exceptionally. THE BIG COMPLAINT THAT I HAVE is that when you connect them to a device with the cable they have (i.e. without Bluetooth), the microphone of the headphones is deactivated for some reason and they are forced to use the device's microphone. But it's not a huge problem. ALSO, when you use the headphones with Bluetooth and use their microphone (e.g. when you are on a call), the quality of the sound output is significantly reduced, but this happens with all Bluetooth headphones (for some reason that I don't know).
Otherwise, very good headphones that are worth their price, but IF YOU USE THEM FOR GAMING WITH VC OR DISCORD, VIBER, etc. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THEM THAT MUCH.
A little heavy, but good... Good construction on their casing, the top cushion is quite good and the sides are 8/10. Strong bass and clear sound. I recommend it!
I had them for 5 years until the sound started to deteriorate. They are amazing both for their price and their quality, much better than other more expensive ones on the market. I used them every day for many hours without taking special care of them, charging them once a month! Now I have the newer edifier w8020 nb for a year, which are more expensive and have noise cancelling, and I have to say that the w800bt are much superior.
1 year of use, they almost never need charging, they have amazing build and sound quality, the only downside is that they don't isolate the sound as well. I highly recommend them
After a year of use, I highly recommend them, their battery life is simply unmatched, you forget to charge them for music, movies, etc. there is no competitor at this price. You also have the option to use an aux cable so even if you run out of battery you just connect the cable, amazing !!!
Excellent fit in the ears and incredible sound isolation..!! I am at the noisy gym where I go and I don't hear anything around me, and at home with two young boys and still I don't hear anything.. To hear the other person you have to have the volume at 45%.. I use them for running and they don't even tire me and they don't move from the specific position where I wear them.. very good bass and sound.. Just get them
Definitely worth their money and if you are like me who wants them only for when you walk on the street or when you are at the gym just take them without a second thought because you will not need anything more.
I got these headphones for everyday use, mainly for listening to music. After 3 months of use, here's what I have to say:
POSITIVES
1) They are extremely lightweight (one of the reasons I bought them, as heavier headphones usually give me a headache) and you get used to them easily.
2) They have good construction for such lightweight headphones.
3) The battery life is amazing! I have gone a week without charging them.
4) The noise cancellation during calls is good.
NEGATIVES
1) The bass is not good at all!! The music I listen to relies heavily on bass, and when I listen to it through these headphones, it sounds flat.
2) The app is useless. The only usefulness is to check the battery percentage, as the different music modes it has make no difference in the sound.
OVERALL
If you don't have high expectations for sound and just want them for your work, they are pretty good. They are decent for listening to podcasts, but for music, due to the lack of bass, it completely dulls the songs.
For the purpose I bought them for, I don't think they do a great job for their price (50€), but for general use without high demands in music, they are pretty good.
I have them for 2 years, maybe a little longer.
They have incredible autonomy, incredible sound, and they are quite comfortable.
I mainly use them at home, but also on trips where I have them with me so as not to bother those around me.
They isolate the sound around you quite well, if not completely, so from me it's 5 stars.
I would definitely buy them again (only if I lost them because it's difficult for them to break)
I have them for several months, very durable, the battery lasts several days with daily use for several hours and they do not tire or hurt my ears at all, as it used to happen with other older ones. I would recommend them 100%
Everything is perfect and I have compared them to Sony headphones up to 120 euros. The only issue is that on my iPhone SE2020, after about 10 minutes, the Bluetooth starts acting up and people can't hear me, so I have to close it. It's not Apple's iOS fault, but rather an incompatibility between the phone and the headphones' Bluetooth. I have big ears, although they don't look like it, as almost all headphones in a foreign store were pressing against my ear and trapping it. When I talk about expensive ones, I mean Sony headphones priced at 350 euros and above, and in the end, only a Bose headphone priced at 400 euros was spacious enough.
For what it is (neither studio nor hi-end), it is amazing at this price. Huge autonomy and very good sound. They haven't worn out at all for me for 2 years now. I think in this category and at this price, it is a one-way street.
