It takes too long to cook them and even if you "forget" them inside, it doesn't burn them... which means it can't reach high temperatures. It takes about 5 minutes for each small waffle. I bought it only because of the good reviews and I regretted it. It's better to get a more expensive and bigger one. Maybe it's suitable for students. Not for families... I spent an hour for 10 waffles, one by one...

I got it for my toddler son, and for the past 24 hours, our whole family has been eating nothing but waffles! It is very small, like a toy! Just before the first waffle, I brushed the plates with a little oil, not a single one stuck, they come out perfect!
