All of us know that the great Fathers and Teachers of our Church were enlightened by God, moved by the Spirit. However, we often forget this and try to confront theological and ecclesiastical problems, that is, problems of life and spiritual loss, only with our own powers. We certainly need to activate these powers, but they are not enough to reach a correct and creative result, in truth.

Here exactly is where the great Fathers became teachers for all ages and for us. They showed us that in order to create something true, to respond correctly to an issue of our time, we must accept and experience what the theologian Fathers before us created through the enlightenment of the Holy Spirit.

This is the reason why we study and analyze the Fathers. Being moved by the Spirit, what they said about the truth and the salvation of humanity concerns us and should be the basis and starting point of our own effort.

With the hope that the fathers of the first five centuries will consciously become the foundation from which our effort to respond to the multiple spiritual questions of our time will start, we present all the texts to our fellow readers.
