The truth is not the property of any human being. If it belongs to anyone, it is none other than Him Who bestows it upon humanity; from Him Who is the Truth.
The rest of us - humans - are custodians and users of the Truth. Consequently, no one has the right to withhold it, depriving those who could utilize it for their own benefit, as well as for the benefit of all humanity.

If, therefore, God is the Truth and the Word of Truth and the Spirit of Truth, it follows that the purpose of Truth is to be spoken and realized. And this happens when man knows it, adopts it, and applies it. Any other approach to it constitutes desecration.
The Truth can be desecrated in two ways: one is to cast pearls before swine; the other is to bury it, rendering it fruitless. Measure, common sense, and purpose determine in each case what is good to reveal and what is not. And the one responsible for deciding with judgment and conscience is every person who - knowing the Truth - automatically becomes its guardian.
