Thanks to the silicon dioxide anti-reflective coating on the instrument's optics, they can deliver sharp, high-contrast images in the dark, and at the same time, offer bright, detailed images in daylight. During the day, you can observe any object from a distance of 3 m and beyond.

At night, the detection range is limited to 300 m. To improve visibility, activate the infrared LED illumination and adjust its intensity accordingly. To save energy, turn off the illumination. If you want the observed images to be as detailed as possible, select the maximum brightness level.

Note: In daylight, the observed images will be in color, while at night they will be black and white.

In addition to optical observation, the Halo 13x binoculars offer the ability to take photos and record videos. In both cases, the offered resolution is 1280×960 px. However, it is possible to reduce it to 640×480 pixels (to save space on the memory card). Videos are recorded at a speed of 30 fps (frames per second). Usually, 24 fps is sufficient, but the higher the frame capture speed, the smoother the video flow and the more pleasant the viewing experience. The various frames captured are displayed on the device's screen. The files are stored on the 32GB memory card (included) and can be transferred to a computer using a USB cable.

The electronic and optical components of the device are protected within the waterproof casing, whose ergonomic design ensures a comfortable grip and easy handling, with just 6 buttons. The menu is user-friendly and navigation is simple. The device operates on batteries (not included). It is advisable to always have an extra spare set of batteries with you, just in case. Battery life varies from 4 to 10 hours, depending on the lighting level.
