Owner of this particular device for about 5 months, I have to say that I am completely satisfied. Connected to the as 1100 of the same company, it offers tremendous sound enjoyment. It goes without saying that the best results come from well-recorded recordings where everything written on the CD can be heard.
We are living in golden times for hi-fi, where with a budget of around 3000-3500 euros, someone can enjoy incredible sound that was simply impossible a few years ago.
A big bravo to Yamaha for creating such machines at reasonable prices.

Yamaha CD player. And the name says it all. As a fan of the company, I had the previous series CD-S300. I simply changed and got this one, same quality, same construction, the only plus is a slightly better DAC and the differences are in some functions that the company changed on the screen and on the back of the connections. RCA. No complaints, completely satisfied, same sound result and slightly better than its predecessor. Flawless.

Due to the fact that my Technics CD players were unable to properly play computer-recorded discs, due to incompatibility (they are now 25 years old), and having the integrated amplifier YAMAHA A-S1200, as an avid audiophile, I invested in this specific CD player.
The construction is particularly sturdy, while the packaging is complete, as it even includes a connection cable (it is the basic one, so it is better to get a higher quality one). The sound performance is decent and quite detailed for a device of this value. All instruments can be heard clearly and one can easily distinguish them during playback.
The ability to also play USB sticks is very useful, making the CD-S303 a multimedia playback device.
It is a device that operates flawlessly. It is also a centerpiece in the living room.
In about a month, I will connect it to the YAMAHA A-S1200 integrated amplifier that I have ordered, and then it will be fully revealed...
The name YAMAHA guarantees sound fidelity, durability over time, and quality construction. At this moment when options are limited, it is a safe value for money choice.
