The MX701 by LS2 is a on-off helmet, that is, a combination of full-face and motocross helmet. It has a smaller chin and visor than the motocross helmet but is heavier. It is made of carbon, a durable and lightweight material with relatively high cost, mainly used in helmets specifically for racing. It fastens with a double d ring, also known as a ring. It is the safest and most reliable fastening, but it requires both hands to tie. The helmet has European safety certification "ECE 22.05", which ensures that the helmet is tested for drop, impact, and object penetration. The package includes an anti-fog film, an additional accessory for the helmet visor that prevents it from fogging up. It is placed on the inner side of the helmet and is useful during the winter months.
