In the vibration mode only I use it now and it does a decent job...
I only put it on the electric shock once and never again!!! My short-haired dog started crying so much (maybe out of fear and not pain) with the first bark and it kept hitting him with an electric charge every few seconds. I took it off immediately and since then only in vibration!

It is indeed very good, but it also requires attention. NEVER EVER leave it on the dog unsupervised, especially in the (factory) setting that increases the intensity of the current because the first shock can make the dog bark again and this can become a cycle, basically in the second hit, remove it if you loved the animal a little. It is better, however, to permanently adjust it to the lowest intensity. Overall, though, the manual is effective and reliable, not the best.

It was quite helpful in adjusting the vibration for training the dog not to bark when we are away. The reason I don't give it 5 stars is because the screen doesn't have a way to lock, resulting in it touching the dog's ears or skin and either turning it on/off or changing the settings when he was lying on it.
