Just the only thing that bothered me was that I expected more weapons. If they released a DLC with more weapons or an extra story, it would be perfect.

For me, this game is a phenomenon, like rs was for the ps1, gta and gow for ps2, demon souls for ps3, witcher for ps4, and other similar games, and I believe it will leave its mark on rogue likes.

4 stars and not 5 because the levels are few and the duration is short even when the game's mechanism is to repeat them for upgrades to your character and weapons. There could be more variation in each run as the path to the exit remains the same, with the same levels in the same order and the same enemies. The way you deal with them varies.
Without much ado, this is a fantastic game. One of the best representatives of rogue-like, with an amazing story, voice acting, and (like most of its kind) insane replayability.
One of the best top-down rogue-like games. Beautiful graphics and characters that evolve as you die. The story is completed after reaching the goal three times and from there on it has enough content to keep you engaged.
I borrowed it from a well-known video club chain (which has closed along with its culture) and it has blown my mind.
I decided to return it without finishing it, so that I could buy it and add it to my toy collection, I never imagined I would make such a move.

I recently bought the game because of the very good reviews I read. I have played for 5-6 hours so far and my first impression is wonderful. It runs smoothly and without any problems on the ps5. As a game, it is quite entertaining, addictive, and with a great soundtrack. To my surprise, inside the package, there is a 30-page artbook and a code to download the original soundtrack. It is a game with one purpose: to escape from Hades. To do this, you must fight enemies and bosses as you traverse the areas of the Greek underworld. The idea is simple and clear. However, the gameplay is so well-crafted and solid that you never get bored for a moment. It is a quite demanding game that does not give any handouts. You need to have your mind 100% dedicated to overcome it.
The game does everything perfectly. Gameplay, voice acting, difficulty, atmosphere, art direction, storytelling. Everything. And I am not exaggerating at all. Specifically, the work put into the game's dialogues is unprecedented. I don't think I have ever seen anything similar before. The dialogues change depending on the gods you have by your side. No matter how many times you die, you will not hear the same dialogue line. This applies to both the inhabitants of Hades and the gods. We are talking about hundreds of dialogue lines and combinations. I started it with absolutely no expectations, and in the end, it turned out to be one of the best indie games I have ever played. Finally, I want to emphasize the music, which is a masterpiece and fits perfectly with the rest of the game. The composer is Darren Korb, who happens to be the voice actor of the protagonist.
For its price, you should buy it without a second thought. It is a video game in every sense of the word.

25€ for at least 40 hours of high-quality gameplay. Supergiant once again surpasses itself. THE GAME IS FOR EVERYONE. Pay attention: "FOR EVERYONE". For those who play and for those who don't play roguelike. At first glance, it is demanding, but it has an excellent learning curve and an optional incredibly smart easy mode that gradually makes it easier without you even realizing it. And it remains addictive from beginning to end. Blind purchase, don't be afraid.
Greek mythology, challenging but fair roguelite action gameplay, and countless different dialogues that advance the story in a way that makes you want to read more. A masterpiece, for me the best in its genre!
I achieved Platinum in Returnal and I didn't believe that I would ever play something similar and at such a difficult level. It is a rogue-like game in which you will die many times, but the more you die, the more you will want to play again. With each run, you definitely gain experience and you do better the next time, plus you collect materials that make you stronger (permanent buffs) for the next tries. I finished it and I continue to enjoy it because it has many things to do still.
