I have had the game for 2 years, for people who play this type of games, get it with closed eyes even though it has a little difficult handling especially for people who have never dealt with such games before, one of the best games of this kind. Also, an expansion (shadow of the erdtree) was released a month ago, quite big, highly recommended!
I laugh at all the crybabies who gave a bad review. The game doesn't hold your hand and take you from the beginning to the end on super easy difficulty. The game is very easy on its own if you know how to play. Personally, I loved it but I only did 1 playthrough because I saw everything. Unfortunately, there weren't many invasions and PvP in general. Of course, it's a 10/10 and of course, I would love to have amnesia to be able to experience it again. 713 levels (with rune dup, of course, when I finished it) and now I'm at level 120 ready for the DLC.
So I have had the game for quite some time now and recently I platinumed it. Objectively, the game is very nice but at the same time it has some things that are annoying. For example, there are some bosses and items that you cannot find on your own without a guide video, and I understand that it is the persona of Souls games, but why hide such nice things that people would enjoy discovering? However, the game also has positive aspects, such as the open world and the ability to discover things that you may not expect to be there. The sound and music in battles are very nice, and the fighting, spells, summons, and weapons are all very cool. The graphics are also great, and there are some places where you can just sit for 2 minutes and admire how beautiful they are!
An absolute masterpiece.
Having played all of FromSoftware's games, I can easily say that Elden Ring is a category ahead in all areas. Gameplay, mechanics, world building, bosses, and more. Once again, Miyazaki has outdone himself and created one of the best games of all time. For those who talk about difficulty, it is worth dedicating time because it demands it, but the reward and emotions it will give you, believe me, cannot be described in words.
First time I bought a Souls game and I chose Elden Ring because it had amazing reviews. It's a very nice game with beautiful graphics, gameplay, and music. As for the multiplayer, I don't know, I haven't tried it. It's definitely a demanding and difficult game, and to understand its story and plot, you have to figure it out on your own, unlike God of War where it's given to you.
Anyone who says that the game is difficult is because they only play Fortnite and they should go fuck themselves. They should have watched a review before buying it since everyone says it's difficult. It's difficult because it's one of those games

Good value for money.
With 2 playthroughs, the counter has recorded over 150 hours so far. The best Souls game of all time, by far better than the second one. Fantastic experience, you think you have discovered everything but always find something new. It goes without saying that it is recommended only on the new consoles, purely because of the 60 FPS, it's not playable at 30 FPS. We are waiting for the DLC or Expansion to play it again.
The best game I have ever played, perhaps even the best game of all time. A true masterpiece that falls into the genre of souls, games known for their difficulty, immersive story, and incredible bosses. It is the first game in the series that is open world and the open world aspect could not have been a better addition. The feeling that the game gives you, this awe and the idea that anything you see is accessible, makes you want to dedicate more and more time to it, even just wandering around the map without progressing the game's story. The game features a huge (and I mean huge) variety of different weapons and abilities, each one more unique than the previous. It also has a vast variety of enemies and some of the best boss fights that have ever existed. Another characteristic of it is a "mystery obsession", meaning there are hidden things everywhere, from dungeons to entire areas of the map, that if you don't do a very specific thing to unlock them, you won't have access to them. This fact truly makes you want to explore each area as much as possible. I truly mean it, every time I replay the game, I find something new that I had no idea existed and I am amazed by how many things they were able to put into this game.
This game is a must-play for anyone, at least once in their life.
Having played all the previous souls-like games, I can say that this is by far the best. Additionally, it is by far the largest in terms of content, with optional things to explore for endless hours
Although I personally don't like such games and yes, I couldn't play it after a few hours because it's not my style.. I can confidently and realistically say that it's epic... I wish games were released as complete, beautiful, and with as much content as ER..!! Respect to the company..!!
Coming from the forbidden west, I sat down to play Elden Ring. The only thing worth mentioning is the atmosphere, where you often get chills. However, the graphics are mediocre and the strikes in battle are not clear, making it feel like you're hitting the air. The story lacks a beginning and an end, and overall it is a highly overrated game. If you're looking for a chilling atmosphere, it is a must. Otherwise, it is average in every aspect. Needless to say, I gave up on it.
This is my first Souls game, after this masterpiece I decided to delve into the world of Souls games a bit. Personally, it took me about a month to finish the game due to work, rarely do I look forward to finishing work to go play a game, Elden Ring helped me understand that there are still games with soul in them.

When Zelda met Dark Souls... I had to quit my job to start it as I knew that this particular game required a lot of dedication to deal with it. And so it happened. I bought the game when it came out and for about a year it was gathering dust in my library until the right opportunity arose (fortunately I didn't quit for this). Being a fan of the Souls series, apart from Bloodborne and Sekiro since I'm not good at dodging and parrying (I'm 42 years old now), I didn't hesitate to get into the game's atmosphere as the gameplay has been faithfully transferred to Elden Ring from these games. At first, you get lost in the vast world they have created. I think they have included everything that everyone asks for from a fantasy world and even more. Large, different areas, full of secrets that make you want to explore every inch of them. The Torrent (horse) helps both in exploring the areas and in several battles, as long as it doesn't get surrounded. The graphics, while showing their age somewhat even on the PS5, are very pleasant, firstly because HDR works impeccably in both bright landscapes and dungeons, and secondly because a large part of the color palette is used compared to previous Souls games. However, if the Bluepoint Games platform was used (see Demon's Souls remake), we would be talking about a different game... The sound that accompanies you on the journey is always epic, although I believe that the player is dedicated to the dangers that lurk at every step. There is a great variety both in enemies and in bosses (basically also mini bosses), although some of the mini bosses are repeated in certain areas and dungeons. Various sites count them all together as 238 - I didn't count them - but I defeated them all except for Malenia Blade of Miquella as its difficulty level is extremely higher than all the others and I couldn't dedicate more time to it, besides it was optional. The game is more enjoyable to play than the other Souls games because, due to the open world, you can go almost anywhere you want to strengthen your character and come back. In the Souls games, for example, due to linearity, you had to play in detail a boss or an area to progress. The difficulty of the bosses in Elden Ring is chosen by you, as with the help of various spirit ashes, the battles become much easier without the need for a tutorial via YouTube to learn the moves of each one (238, come on). Some of the best spirit ashes were Mimic Tear and Black Knife Tiche, both at level 10. For those who don't want to spend a lot of time like me, the guide from IGN can guide you without unnecessary movements. It also greatly helps in the progress of the questlines of various characters that are not clear which ones are necessary for the evolution of the lore and the game's endings. Of course, interacting with NPCs usually evolves their story with a positive response. A key element of the game to not get lost is to do some basic things in each area. 1) Find the map of the area. 2) Wander a bit with the Torrent to see its geography and topography. 3) Locate and complete the dungeons. 4) Find the NPCs to progress their questlines. 5) Find points of interest where you can collect important items for the game's progression. I'm definitely not the best soul player since I finished the game with a purely melee approach (shield and weapon) without using sorceries, incantations, or even ashes of war, except for Poison Mist which I needed 4-5 times against some mini bosses that were even harder than the regular ones. Another important tip that I applied throughout the soul games series was that when my runes were close to leveling up or when I would go to a difficult point in the area I was exploring, I would immediately go back to a safe spot I had identified for farming. In the early levels at Lurnia Highway North, I leveled up quite a bit and tested the abilities of the spirit ashes. Later, at Across the Roots Site of Grace, where you face two enemies and get 7,000 runes (sometimes it's a large amount and gives 17,000), and towards the end at Palace Approach Ledge-Road, where there are 20 enemies with 2,000 each (but the 4 of them attack you). My complaints about the game: 1) I finished it with the first weapon I found from the first mini boss (Golden Halberg +10). I found countless weapons, but they didn't have the evolution I expected. 2) The set armors were the same - while they looked more visually appealing, their characteristics were not better than an average armor set I had. 3) I collected everything from items, but I only used about 10% of them - some I didn't even understand why I collected them or what they did. 4) Some mini bosses are annoyingly stronger than the regular ones. 5) I got lost with the questlines even with a guide. 6) The ending was a 30-second video clip and credits - come on, I played for 180 hours. Overall, my assessment and conclusion for Elden Ring: After 180 hours of offline gameplay (I have no opinion on multiplayer), searching and finding everything in all the areas, reaching level 190 (without cheats) in the first and only playthrough (I'm going for Diablo IV next), with a controller saying goodbye halfway through the game (the joystick started drifting to the right on its own), I can say that it is an exceptional and addictive game that has set the bar so high in gaming that I'm sad because I can no longer dedicate so much time. It is an immersive experience from start to finish that everyone should experience because it truly is a great and high-quality work. Personally, I enjoyed this journey as if it were the last one...
A good game and worth buying, but definitely not a masterpiece as some people consider it. Its main advantage is the bosses and the large world (although this is debatable).
My rating would normally be 1 star if it weren't for the guides and walkthroughs available on the internet. This is because the game, although I quite enjoy it, would become incredibly frustrating without them, resulting in me giving up on it. The reason is not the difficulty of the enemies, but how difficult they have made exploring the world with no useful information and several irrelevant locations, causing you to wander for hours without knowing where to go or what to do, especially in specific quests, the use of certain keys, and unlocking areas. The same applies to items, equipment, and abilities, for many of which you have absolutely no useful information except for something very general, without telling you to what extent they help you and where exactly.
So, this is the main drawback of the game, that I have spent a total of about 80 hours playing it with around 6 hours of searching on the internet to see where exactly I should go because I was going in circles, to understand exactly what this ability and item do, to realize that I was stuck because I hadn't hit a wall or a shrine in a certain way, or that I had to remove all the pieces of my armor to make the option to open a gate appear, or that a certain key opened a door that I had passed in a different area.
But there are also other negatives. There is a wide variety of weapons, but it doesn't put you in the position to use them as some are superior to others and you acquire them relatively quickly. Overall, I have mainly used 4 different weapons so far, and if it weren't for the switch in the ashes of war, it would be a bit monotonous. Some enemies and bosses are repetitive. The battles on horseback are not good as there are times when you hit anywhere.
Changing your equipment, especially during battle, every time you want to cast a spell is annoying and takes you out of the rhythm, resulting in many times not bothering with it. While the negative effects you may have are visible on your character, their duration and degree, this is not true for enemies.
So, Elden Ring could indeed be a masterpiece but... it's not. Is it worth buying? Yes, because you won't easily find epic bosses, difficulty, and battles like the ones you'll have in this game. If you enjoy exploration, at first you will spend several enjoyable hours discovering areas and enemies, later still relatively enjoyable but using guides on the internet, and later on, you will simply start bypassing them and going straight to the bosses.
As a veteran of Souls, I decided to dive into this one... The implementation of the open world is very well done, and the combat system is quite enriched compared to previous ones. They made the multiplayer unnecessarily complicated (when you want to call someone for help, you have to use an item to see the signs, which is ridiculous). I have no other complaints, it's incredible! I can't wait for the DLC!
What can one say about this game, it's the best and probably the most beautiful game of the year along with gow. Everything is perfect in this game, there is no negative aspect, I just advise you all to get it!!!
Perhaps this is the pinnacle for me of these specific games, with a very good level of difficulty and all the elements of an open world really tying together easily. A new player can learn the world and avoid very strong battles
My first soul game... I won't say much about the game. I started it and didn't understand where the four were going, so I gave up. Then I picked it up again. This game has something that even overlooks its imperfections, the enchanting atmosphere it offers. The rest is history!

A lot of people don't know the magic of Souls games and many are deterred by the difficulty. Elden Ring is the easiest but also the most difficult FromSoftware Souls game you can play. That's why I recommend it even to completely new players who want to enter this magical world. It's worthy of Game of the Year and truly a unique experience. It's not just a special experience for the video game itself, but through it you can learn a lot about yourself and work on your patience, perseverance, and character. It sounds deep, but you'll only understand when you play it. It's excellent in every way with some weaknesses that don't bother because the game is really good!

Incredible game with truly massive content! Don't even bother searching for reviews and evaluations, it's one of those games you buy with your eyes closed as it's impossible not to be satisfied. It's like someone is giving you money for the price of 50 euros! And for all those who give negative ratings and one star, if you ask them to name a better game with similar gameplay, graphics, content, etc. for the same amount of money, they will look at you like a cow watching a passing train. Negative ratings are fine, but for me they should always be accompanied by a better suggestion for the given price, otherwise they have no meaning!
Copy-pasting from previous Souls games with minimal additions. And for some reason, the world feels like it rediscovered the wheel. Okay, relax a bit guys, we've seen it all before in the past 3 Dark Souls. Same animations, same sounds, same UI.
300 hours for a play through? Yes, you read that right. Maybe you won't discover everything, but it has it all. The map is endless, and without searching online, you won't even find half of its secrets. The difficulty level is just right for someone who wants to invest time. The boss fights are endless, although some are repetitive. The graphics are amazing, and the landscapes are breathtaking. There's even an arena for PvP battles, so there's still a future, maybe even NG+. I highly recommend it, but you need to invest time in the beginning and get into the game. It's epic.
I don't know what to say about this game. I've been playing videogames for 25 years and I thought I had seen everything. Generally snubbing the idea of souls-like games, I decided to try my luck with Elden Ring and decided to buy it. I won't say much. Just an amazing experience from all perspectives. A beautiful, mysterious, addictive, impressive game that literally makes you get lost in its world. As for the difficulty issue that has been a topic of discussion for years, I can't take a stand, everyone with their own tastes. All I can say is that ER is quite easier than previous Fromsoftware titles. A piece of advice for every gamer who respects themselves out there: experience it. It's an unparalleled game. It automatically took a place among the best I've ever played.

1. The map of the game has the best map I have seen in terms of hiding places and locations. It easily surpasses all open-world games with its paths that an ordinary person cannot find alone. However, there are some things missing, such as not telling you how many objects are in each area. This results in the game giving you pointless challenges.

The game is one of the best video games that have been released in recent years, it has that classic feeling that a souls game gives you. However, it is definitely not Miyazaki's best game, personally I consider DS, BB, and Sekiro to be better games because I believe that while Elden Ring succeeds in its world, its art style is lacking in comparison to most of its bosses. I say this as a die-hard souls fan. Of course, it has good battles, but they could have put more work into this aspect. Elden Ring doesn't reach the level of battles that I experienced in DS3 or Sekiro, and I'm referring to the battles themselves, not the design of the arena or the boss, because it excels in those areas. Another area where it falls short is in repetition. As you progress in the game, you will encounter many similar mini bosses (not main bosses) or similar enemies. You might say, well, with such a vast world, it's logical for that to happen, and yes, of course, but it's a negative aspect that, if it didn't exist, would put it on par with DS, BB, and Sekiro. The graphics engine is not next-gen, but it remains beautiful. The lore of the game is deep and has many secrets in the world of Elden Ring that you will only find if you dig deep, and you will be shocked. The main story is a typical souls adventure, but the essence lies in the world itself and, of course, in the messages that Miyazaki wants to convey to the player. Martin's writing is evident in several parts of the game, as well as in an area that screams Game of Thrones, as I mentioned before, and in many parts of the lore. The main bosses of the game are very good, especially the final bosses, and the areas are amazing. I wasn't as impressed with the music as I was with the previous games, but it does have about six amazing pieces that will stay with you and give you chills as you fight the boss (my personal favorite being the final boss from start to finish, it's shocking and awe-inspiring). In terms of gameplay, it combines all the games from From Software, so it's the second best gameplay among their games, with Sekiro being the clear winner. However, what stood out to me personally was the world. You are free to wander in an endless world of fantasy and dreams and forget about the rotten and disgusting everyday life. It made me forget and have a good time, and that's what matters to me personally in a video game. If a game can do that, it has won me over, even if it's not flawless, it doesn't matter. Elden Ring is not a perfect game, but it comes close to perfection. There are areas for improvement, obviously, but ultimately what matters is how much a game can touch the player, and Elden Ring, like all of Miyazaki's games, has touched me, just like many other favorite games of mine that I won't mention now. Elden Ring offers a challenge, it's not for everyone, but it's worth the effort. Of course, if you're the type of person who doesn't like to be challenged in the games you play, you won't even consider it because it's likely not for you. Don't hate on games just because they are difficult.
