The pull-up bar Viking TK-450, thanks to its sturdy construction, the two locking points for unwanted rotation, and the large gripping surface with excellent material, offers maximum safety during pull-ups without leaving marks on the door frame. The maximum user weight is 180 kg.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
I have bought other scales in the past for placement either in hallways or on balcony doors. This particular purchase was made for a balcony door with a width of 97 centimeters because the regular scales would sag under the weight when the width was large. I tried it and it gives me the impression of being safe and sturdy.
Update March 13, 2023. It was tested with a back program and it doesn't move at all, completely stable and sturdy. The best thing I have ever bought. Body weight 100 kg.
Just fell after 4 months... miraculously saved my life, I would find the back of my head on the desk and I would be toast... NEVER AGAIN SINGLE OF THE JOKE!
5/5 without a doubt.. Anyone who can't put it on or falls off has misunderstood something.. an unbeatable pull-up bar without any exaggeration.
I have not idea how the guys who say it fell managed to do so. This thing will not, i repeat, will not go anywhere or move a cm when istalled correctly. Read the instuctions for God's sake and use your brain if you have one. Best product ever. No drilling on the walls. This thing is a beast. Buy without thinking.
It is easy to install, but it requires tightening all the way to be secure, especially if it is placed on a wall.
The best door/wall pull-up bar I have ever purchased BY FAR, with very good build quality, solid and secure so it doesn't unlock/unscrew and of course, no chance of bending (95 kilograms)
However you fasten it, no matter how tightly you squeeze it, it is given that after a while it will come off its place with the risk of getting injured. It is better to choose a shorter length or a different way of placement.
Although its construction is of good quality, the soles, as designed, do not hold well. With a weight of 70 kilograms (much lower than the maximum allowed), the balance board slipped away while I was exercising, and I ended up spending a perfect night in the emergency room without fortunately having any fractures. P.S. It had moved once before, so I was suspicious and paying attention.
Well guys, the unicycle is of the highest quality. I put it in the hallway from wall to wall. Easy to install and very sturdy. I am 82 kilos and it holds me comfortably. A person of 130 kilos hung on it and it still held up! I highly recommend it!!
Perfect balance beam. DOES NOT MOVE (I weigh 95kg). It was installed in the hallway and does not leave the slightest mark on the wall
Very good. I have placed it in the hallway, above the drawers of two opposite doors, and it doesn't go anywhere. It can handle over 100 kilograms of weight.
Excellent! Sturdy, easy installation. I weigh 100 kilograms and it doesn't even notice. The grip is also very nice (it has some cushions).
The only downside maybe for some is that the handle is a bit thick (like regular dumbbells of course). If someone is used to a thin dumbbell, it may not suit them.
I have had it for a few months now, it has been installed in a hallway above the cabinets of two opposite doors and it doesn't go anywhere. A friend weighing 120 kilograms hung on it and another lighter one who did somersaults and acrobatics, and not even a crack was heard from the cabinets. Value for money.
Initially, I had concerns about how stable and safe a folding balance beam with such a large opening would be. I have placed it in a hallway with a width of 1.18 m and a height of 2.40 m, and it is literally "rock solid". I am 1.88 m tall and weigh 96 kg, and I truly feel secure with this, unlike other balance beams I have had in the past. It doesn't wobble, bend, or make strange sounds internally in the mechanical parts. Very sturdy construction. The pads on the handles are of good quality and do not slip even with sweaty hands. I don't think there is anything better at this price. I will also get the smaller one for floor exercises.
It was placed in the hallway, on walls. While it has a "safety" feature with teeth to prevent it from unscrewing, the first few times I put it on and grabbed it in the wrong direction or however, it started to loosen and move slowly. After the last time I tightened it as much as I could and now I only grab it from the right side, it hasn't loosened at all. I weigh 110-120 kilograms.
I put it at 115 cm fixed, easy installation and easy to move, with good quality sponges
The treadmill is 92 cm and I couldn't fit all the components.
So when it's close to 90 cm, it's better to get the smaller size.
Otherwise, very good.
I changed the rating from 5 stars to 3.
I fell 5 minutes ago. Luckily, firstly) the way it was positioned on the floor against the wall, on the left side there was a box (it was placed on top of the box to provide resistance) and it fell diagonally instead of vertically, and secondly) I had a chair underneath, so I fell onto the chair. I also fell in slow motion because the surface it has on the edges provided resistance.
I weigh 80 kilos and I used assistance with elastic bands, so logically the weight would be more, but not over 100-110. While it says it can withstand 180.
Miraculously, I didn't break my legs, even though I fell hard.
Sturdy and easy to install, the manual is in English but you can still assemble it just by following the pictures
5/5 definitely, very easy to install, very stable. I, who use it not close to its limits (I weigh 75kg and have it at 105cm), it is flawless.
Very sturdy construction, can be mounted on a wall or door without leaving marks. Its locks secure it in place and you don't have to worry about it falling. It has a fairly long length that can be adjusted. Its cushions are soft and durable, I can say, after 6 months of use, they haven't suffered anything. Installation might be a bit tricky, but you won't take long to figure it out. I would recommend it.
update: after 2 years of moderate use, I wouldn't change anything from the above. The only thing I would add is that if it is mounted on a wall, make sure it is tightened well and check it before starting the exercise. Especially if the distance between the walls is large and the pull-up bar is opened almost completely.
Do not waste your money on such products. I bought this particular one, which is considered better than the average cheap door stopper, and it broke when I tried to tighten it. It wouldn't even hold an extra centimeter, and as soon as I applied a little pressure from below (not even hanging on it), it fell down. If there is no resistance from below, it cannot hold you. So, don't throw away your money and ruin your doors. Either get a proper door stopper if you have the means, or find a nice gym near your house and do your job like a human being. Unfortunately, these are cheap solutions that don't work
I have tried many different types of door stops, and if you are going to use it on a standard door with a length of 90-100 cm, there is no significant difference. However, if you want to use it on larger openings, this particular one is the way to go as it seems to have the durability and stability that other door stops lack, which cannot support heavy weight in any case.
In terms of quality, it seems excellent. Personally, the installation did not give me any trouble since you don't have to screw it anywhere, you just unscrew it with the difference that it has red locks that lock and unlock the rotation. While its large bases provide the stability that may be missing from others.
I don't know if it will withstand the test of time, but I don't see a reason why not.
I bought it for my son, but my husband who weighs 85+ kilograms also uses it.
Very good and high quality.
Definitely WFM.
The sticker on the bar says "this product is not recommended for people with weight over 100kgs", so the "for User up to 180kg" is not valid...
Very good. Durable. Its large soles covered the holes in the wall from the old one. Perfect purchase
Five stars because it is extremely stable, my husband who weighs 95 kilos also uses it and the monorail stays in place. I haven't used it yet with rings (to hang gymnastic rings), but I don't think there will be a problem. We have placed it in a hallway. The installation was not difficult, but the instructions are only in English, so someone who is not familiar with the language may have difficulty. Definitely value for money!
Owner of the monopod for 4 months until today, before I start, let me say that the first piece I bought had an issue with the right end that did not extend (of course the seller replaced it and I got a new one).
Positives
- Easy installation (I have installed it on a wooden case with cement lining)
- Easy packing
- Stable (requires a slight tilt to secure properly)
- Sturdy construction (so far it has withstood up to 100 kg and sudden movements without distortion or movement from the initial position)
- Quality/Price ratio
Negatives
- The plastic grips are of good quality but do not suit me particularly well (at least to me)
Therefore, I recommend it as a very good and quality solution for a monopod!
I bought it with reservations, I got a little confused during installation, but I would definitely recommend it, it's definitely worth the money. Something affordable for inside the house without drilling holes in the walls.
Excellent in everything except for the available handle length with the "foam latex" that I would like it to be longer
