Ancient philosophy can be seen from the perspective of its metaphysical history, which is already revealed as theological in Aristotle. The originality of this book lies in the fact that it approaches the metaphysical/theological substratum of ancient Greek philosophical inquiries, not by exploring the history in terms of common Christian theological terms, but through a method of existential correlation. Thus, a series of deeper theological/metaphysical demands of ancient philosophy are highlighted, to which Christian theology has succeeded or is obliged to respond.
