I bought it based on the reviews here. Unfortunately, it doesn't do such a good job on Labrador (it passes through the fur without collecting many hairs), so I stopped using it. It may be better for other breeds.

For this particular mixed breed dog with a double coat, it is the best. Not even the furminator did such a good job (it only caught the outer coat). This one (it also has 2 different sizes, 1 on each side) catches the undercoat and removes tufts of hair.
Of course, as I mentioned, it is suitable for my dog and breeds with medium-length undercoat. It is not suitable for dogs with short hair, such as pit bulls or pointers. Nor for Labradors or retrievers.

The biggest advantage compared to the "more classic expensive comb" is that it combs against the hair and removes more fur. It doesn't hurt, but I do it carefully. I don't know if it will work on very short hair.

It removes a lot of hair from my dog's double coat (Belgian Shepherd), but I think it hurts him because he cried when I combed him.
