The Knauf-Perlfix is used for bonding plasterboards, insulation materials (polystyrene and mineral fiber boards) PS and MF panels on common substrates with rough and absorbent surfaces.

Substrate preparation
The substrate must be dry, clean from dust and other residues.
Check the absorbency of the substrate and remove any oil stains from wooden surfaces.
Prime porous and smooth surfaces (e.g. visible concrete)

Mixing
Mix one bag of Perlfix (4.5 kg) with approximately 2.4 liters of clean water without adding any other materials and mix with an electric mixer until a homogeneous and lump-free mixture is obtained.

Processing time
Apply the material within approximately 30 minutes from the preparation of the mixture.
Moistened containers and tools reduce processing time.

Processing
On uneven surfaces, apply Knauf-Perlfix in zigzags at a distance of 35 cm on the plasterboard or surface.

Very uneven surfaces can be leveled with strips of plasterboard glued with Knauf-Perlfix or the panels are glued to the strips and leveled.
The installation must be done without gaps in the joints.
Containers and tools should be cleaned with water after use.

Storage
Storage should be in a dry environment on pallets.
Damaged bags should be covered and used first.
Storage time is 6 months.
