The AirTag is an incredibly easy way to keep track of your belongings. Attach one to your keys and another to your backpack. And just like that, you can find them in the Find My app, where you can also track your Apple devices and locate friends and family.
Lost your wallet? If you have connected the AirTag, no problem. You can play a sound on the built-in speaker from the new Items tab in the Find My app. If it's hidden somewhere nearby—like under the couch or in the next room—just follow the sound and find it.
If your AirTag is nearby, your iPhone will lead you directly to it with Precision Finding. You will see the distance to your AirTag and the directions to locate it—all thanks to Ultra Wideband technology.
When you have forgotten something far away, like at the beach or the gym, the Find My network—which consists of hundreds of millions of iPhone, iPad, and Mac devices worldwide—helps you locate your AirTag. And of course, it is designed to protect your privacy every step of the way.
Like other Apple devices, the AirTag can be put into Lost Mode. Then, when detected by a device on the network, you will automatically receive a notification. You can also set it up so that someone can get your contact information by tapping your AirTag with an NFC-enabled smartphone. This is the same technology that allows users to make payments with their phones.
Only you can see where your AirTag is. Location data and history are never stored on the AirTag. The devices that transmit the location of your AirTag also remain anonymous, and location data is encrypted at every step. So even Apple doesn't know the location of your AirTag or the identity of the device that helps you find it.
Setting up with a simple touch instantly connects the AirTag to your iPhone or iPad. Give your AirTag a name, attach it to the item you want to track, and you're ready. Want to receive AirTag notifications on your Apple Watch as well? No problem.

It could have a route recording feature. Otherwise, when it detects a signal from another iPhone, it gives a location.
It is really very useful but not perfect, occasionally loses accurate position determination but overall it is good and does its job

The purchase was made because I am quite forgetful and I keep losing my keys, so I got 2 for the keys and 2 to have it in the car and motorcycle for security.

Excellent! When my suitcase was delayed for a few days during a trip, I was able to track it down and go through the necessary procedures with airport services and transportation in order to retrieve it as quickly as possible. I didn't imagine how helpful it would be!
I have had them for a year now.. I have put them in my wallet, on my keys, on my scooter.. as a person who constantly throws my things and then forgets where I have them, with these I have been saved!! I had lost my keys once in the mountains and luckily the mark was left in that specific location and I found them again..
It is very good at tracking. It loses 2 stars because it doesn't produce strong sound. In other words, it somehow "renders" its usefulness useless. The sound is almost non-existent, meaning you can't hear it even in silence. It's okay for tracking, but the sound is NOT
It does what it says. However, it doesn't work miracles, often "gets lost" as there needs to be another device nearby to "transfer" its position. Expensive.
For anyone who has Apple products with Find My, it is an important purchase to know what is happening with your wallet-keys
There is a reason why Apple holds the position it has in the market. Excellent quality construction. Unfortunately, it only works with iOS. Any other application that claims it can recognize/connect with it... They simply inform you that there is a tracker near you. It also does not provide you with the ability for "movement history". Only the specific moment it is in.
A useful gadget for the forgetful ones and not only. It definitely saves from forgotten parking or potential theft, whether it's a motorcycle or a car (just make sure to hide it cleverly).
However, their price is a bit steep... We wanted an Apple product, and that's what we pay for!
I paired it with a nice Spigen case (the one with the large metal ring) and a protective screen protector.
Update 5/2024: After several months of use, I had an adventure in Thessaloniki during Easter vacation, and the police officer patrolling the streets couldn't locate the car because it wasn't registered in their system whether it was fined or not, so I had to wait for 2-3 hours and if they find it in their system, otherwise I had to report it as stolen. Immediately, I remembered that it had a hidden AirTag, so we quickly located the car a little further from the spot, it was found in a free parking lot. I showed the location to the police officer and he contacted the headquarters, confirming that it was moved by a crane due to illegal parking. I felt relieved!!!
The whole process took 15-20 minutes. It saved us from the hassle of 2-3 hours and from the anxiety.
I got it as a Christmas gift. Everyone was satisfied. User-friendly and convenient. They put it on their keys.
I really don't understand where all the previous excellent reviews come from. In order for this product to work, it must be near an iPhone. In short, if it doesn't connect to any random iPhone, it won't give you any signal. It's not suitable for pets that wander off, it's not suitable for cars in sparsely populated areas, etc. etc
It does what it promises, it is easy to install, however depending on the use, it may require extra accessories. It scratches easily
I have placed one on my dog's collar. When the dog is far away from me, it simply cannot be located on my iPhone's map...

The best thing about this anti-theft device. It detects it easily in any device you put it in, except for something underground with no signal at all. The sound is satisfactory when you are looking for an object. I bought the set for 96€!
I had my bag stolen during my vacation.
5 days later, I got a lead and found my bag, of course, thrown deep inside the bushes.
All of this because the tag on my keys did what it was supposed to do.
It can simply save you at some point...
I will only tell a very short story:
Owner of an SH Mode scooter, the bike parked outside my house, without a chain, without any protection at all, and on September 21, 2023, at noon, I went to get it and it wasn't there. Luckily, I had placed an AirTag under the seat and when I checked Find My, I located it in Agios Dimitrios (I live in Paleo Faliro). I went to the location where it had last been detected, walked around searching, and found it parked outside a house, with a deviation of 50 meters from the location it showed me on Find My. I called the police, they came, confirmed that it was indeed mine, I explained how I located it, and at that moment, all 4 police officers ordered their own AirTags too!!! We retrieved the scooter, made a report at the police station, and returned home!
Sorry for the length of the text, but the narrative was meant to show how a €30 item saved my property. I was very lucky that they didn't open the seat to see it and throw it away, but without it, I would have never found the scooter.
Whether it's worth buying, I leave it up to your judgment.

Very easy to use. Excellent ease of connectivity and tremendous accuracy in their search..! The small size is very positive as it doesn't bother, gets stuck, but also easily hides.
After a few days of use, it does indeed function as a tracker for cars, motorcycles, etc. It does not solely rely on that, but it can provide a solution. The main use is with a keychain inside a wallet, etc. Although it is not exactly what I wanted, I will give it five stars because it did not promise to be that product
Because you forget your keys, wallet, and various other things, this is what you need! It's worth its money, the first time you have 4 heart attacks because you forgot your wallet with all your documents somewhere and you were left stranded.
It holds up relatively well over time - the Apple logo has faded a bit, but that's a minor issue.
It works very well if you have an iPhone! I will also get one for my wife now, who, even though she made fun of me, lost her keys and now seems to have changed her mind ;)

In a world where there are countless iPhones and Apple devices, it would be perfect. However, they only work if you are in close proximity. I expected them to be easier to locate.
Perhaps they need an upgrade to catch signals through the internet.
It is the second set I have purchased in two years. It is incredible for my keys, I have never lost them again. In fact, when a friend accidentally took them and went to another city, I found him immediately. I have also put them in my cars. It works well as long as an iPhone is nearby.
Very good for us forgetful people. The original accessories are unreasonably expensive, and the imitations require searching because sometimes the quality is very poor (e.g. the tag comes off the case-keychain, etc).
I got it for car tracking, it doesn't have a built-in antenna for internet, it works with Bluetooth but it gives a signal when another iPhone passes by it with BT on and then you can see where it is from your phone through the internet.
It does what it promises but it's expensive. I think it should cost around 15 euros per piece. Additionally, the perimeter white ring should be removed. It adds too much bulk if you want to put it in a wallet.
Very satisfied with the tracking systems. The only issue is that you can't see them exactly live at that moment because it has to pass by an iPhone.
Use in suitcase, backpack, and wallet! They are a bit pricey but they do their job more than enough!
