The AirTag is an incredibly easy way to keep track of your things. Attach one to your keys and another to your backpack. And just like that, you can find them in the Find My app, where you can also track your Apple devices and locate friends and family.
A "ping" and you found it
Lost your wallet? If you have connected the AirTag, no problem. You can play a sound on the built-in speaker from the new Items tab in the Find My app. If it's hidden somewhere nearby—like under the couch or in the next room—just follow the sound and find it.
Cold. Lukewarm. Warm. Hot.
If your AirTag is nearby, your iPhone will lead you directly to it with Precision Finding. You'll see the distance to your AirTag and directions to locate it, all thanks to Ultra Wideband technology.
Ask for a little help from hundreds of millions of friends.
When you've forgotten something far away, like at the beach or the gym, the Find My network, which consists of hundreds of millions of iPhone, iPad, and Mac devices worldwide, helps you locate your AirTag. And of course, it's designed to protect your privacy every step of the way.
With the loss function, you can find lost items even more easily.
Like other Apple devices, the AirTag can be put into lost mode. Then, when detected by a device on the network, you will automatically receive a notification. You can also set it up so that someone can receive your contact information by tapping your AirTag with an NFC-enabled smartphone. This is the same technology that allows users to make payments with their phones.
Built-in privacy.
Only you can see where your AirTag is. Location data and history are never stored on the AirTag. The devices that transmit the location of your AirTag also remain anonymous, and location data is encrypted at every step. So even Apple doesn't know the location of your AirTag or the identity of the device that helps you find it.
Wonderfully simple.
Setting up with a simple touch instantly connects the AirTag to your iPhone or iPad. Give your AirTag a name, attach it to the item you want to track, and you're ready. Want to receive AirTag notifications on your Apple Watch as well? No problem.

It really does what it promises. Fast connection with mobile and tracking with great accuracy. It saves you from various situations, especially when traveling with well-known airlines where there is fear for your luggage, it can turn the situation in your favor.
Very practical gadget for Apple users with excellent tracking accuracy. Ideal for keys, backpacks, bags, and even pets. I bought one for my car and another one for my keys, which I put in my suitcase when traveling. However, if it is used for vehicle tracking (in case of theft), the speaker should be removed as it produces sound and, of course, it will be noticed by the thief! The removal is very easy, there are related videos. Of course, in this case, the warranty is void.
A useful gadget for the forgetful and not only. Of course, it saves from forgotten parking or possible theft, whether it's a motorcycle or a car (just hide it cleverly). However, their price is a bit steep... We wanted an Apple product, that's what we pay for! I combined it with a nice Spigen case (the one with the large metal ring) and a protective gel case.
Update 5/2024: After several months of use, I had an adventure in Thessaloniki during Easter holidays, and the police officer patrolling the streets couldn't locate the car because it was not registered in their system whether it was fined or not, and I had to wait 2-3 hours for them to find it in their system, otherwise I had to report it as stolen. I immediately remembered that it has a hidden AirTag, so we quickly located the car a little further from the spot, it was in a free parking lot. I showed the location to the police officer and he contacted the headquarters, confirming that it was moved by a crane due to illegal parking. I was relieved!!! The whole process took 15-20 minutes. It saved us from the hassle of 2-3 hours, and from the anxiety.
I never lose my keys again
As soon as I move away, I receive a notification on my phone that I have left them far away.
Even when I'm listening to music
I'm thinking of getting a pair for my bag and suitcase
It could be a little cheaper
I will come back regarding the battery life
I received it today, immediate connection with iPhone 11, but I have a question..... after I connected it to my phone, I gave it to a friend with an iPhone 12 and then I couldn't find it even though he had another iPhone next to him permanently.... can someone help?
It connects very easily! When I got it, I was traveling and I put it in my suitcase. When we landed, I could "see" the suitcase before it came on the belt. Wherever you put it, you get a notification on your phone - if you want, as soon as you move away from where you have it, and it also sends a notification when someone with an iPhone passes by. Super gadget! Of course, it could be cheaper, but it's Apple after all...
Very useful for people with iOS and forgetful people. It works very well, with some exceptions such as underground parking or areas with poor signal. As usual, it ends up requiring you to enter the Apple ecosystem.
This specific product is very good in case you want to install it in your vehicle, wherever you go you can see where your vehicle is at any time. Also, in case of theft, you can easily see where it is and notify the authorities and go find it. It needs a battery change once every 4-6 months, where the batteries are the regular ones that go in watches and you can buy a pack of 6 for 3 euros from a supermarket
Excellent tool! It calms me to know at all times that my car or motorcycle is where I left them! When you move your iPhone away from the location where you have your Airtag, it sends you a notification that you are moving away! Tremendous tool!
It is an amazing product and it comes in handy when you have lost something to which you have attached the AirTag. The connection with the mobile phone was fast, as soon as I took it out of the packaging it made a sound and then gives you the option to connect it to your phone. Changing the battery is easy and it is definitely worth its money.
The connection with the device was immediate (iPad 2021 9th Gen).
I use it to see where the machine is located.
The signal is given when it comes into contact with other IOS devices.
It has great accuracy in determining its location. For example, I have it in my car and in the workshop, I can see when it is outside and when it is inside the service area and at which point of the store! It has the size of an effervescent pill and beyond that, it has to do with the case you will put it in. I think 35-40€ is too much for it. A good price would be up to 20-25€! However, one negative thing I found is that other accounts cannot see it, only one. I cannot, for example, put it on my dog and both my wife and I see it in case it gets lost. The build quality and packaging are Apple. That says it all!
UPDATE: With the upgrade, I can share the device with other people so that they can see it live properly! It continues to be the best!
Very useful for people like me who often lose their keys, I bought 2 for my house and car keys because the mental anguish and phone conversation with the dealership that wants 300 euros to make me a new key (not to mention the wait for the key to come from Germany), let it be the 25 euros (the price I caught it) to find them...
I use them in hand luggage and suitcases when traveling, as well as on keys and my car in my daily life. They are a useful accessory, but expensive. The quality is top-notch, as expected.
Quite satisfied with the air tag. It was purchased as an addition to be placed either in a suitcase or on a vehicle depending on the type of trip we are taking. It detects through other iPhones when they pass within a certain radius and gives a signal as to where the object with the air tag is located. It is not a GPS tracker but it comes close with some limitations. Unfortunately, due to the company, it has a fairly high price and of course, it does not give a signal with Android devices since there is the corresponding Samsung Galaxy smart tag for Samsung users only. The more iPhones pass by it, the more frequently its signal is updated.
I got it for use on a motorcycle. In crowded areas such as the city center, it works quite well and constantly refreshes the signal from passersby. In sparsely populated areas of Athens, especially during hours when there is no traffic, it may take up to half an hour for someone to pass by. That is, if someone takes it from me at 5 in the morning when there is no one around, I don't know how likely it is to pick up a signal from another passing car. Generally, however, you have a (even small) chance of catching a signal somewhere in case of theft and having a rough idea of where the motorcycle is headed. Of course, it does not have a notification function in case the AirTag is moved and you have to check it yourself every now and then to detect any theft. For the money, it gives you an extra security lock without a high cost of acquisition and without paying a monthly subscription, etc. It would be a great improvement, especially for Greece, if it could also pick up signals from passing android phones.
I took it and put it on my scooter to see where it is when I park it on the sidewalks. It works fine. The downside is that it updates its location stamp if another iPhone passes within Bluetooth range. Overall, though, I didn't expect anything more for the 31€ I paid for it, since the cheapest GPS alarm costs more than 150€.
Initially, I got it because I lost my keys and I don't like losing my things, especially my keys.
2. It is useful in case an object is lost somewhere in the car or at home. The signal helps to locate it.
3. The signal is delayed a bit in finding it (11 pro), but it finds it in 5 minutes at most.
4. I don't know up to what distance it can provide information about the location of the AirTag because I didn't bother to test it. I would prefer to know with the purchase.
5. Also, I would prefer it to have an audible notification on it and to function as an alarm.
6. Expensive for its job, you're Apple, I'm not surprised.
7. If you happen to lose your personal belongings frequently, I would highly recommend it.
8. A good purchase if you're an Apple fan.
9. It updates where your AirTag is when an Apple user passes by.
