As an alarm, the big disadvantage is that it does not take a 4G sim card for backup internet, nor does it have the ability to connect to backup wifi. To address this, someone needs to have the router on a UPS and have a USB modem with 4G on the router, but even this has disadvantages as a solution.
If someone has 2 systems (or a neighbor), they can give internet to the other, but even that is not satisfactory.
An advantage is that it works as an alarm with the company's outdoor cameras.
