With the cast iron grill, cooking is faster as the temperature is evenly distributed on all sides of the food. To maintain the cast iron grill before cooking, it is good to spread a thin layer of cooking oil (e.g., olive oil or some vegetable fat) and thus you will have created a non-stick surface.

Very good, just one observation about the 4 stars. The lid, after the first use, doesn't close completely anymore due to expansion. It leaves a corner open.
The grill is value for money, it cooks evenly and quickly. A great advantage is the mechanism for the charcoal and the side shelf that is foldable without needing any special tool. It also has hooks to hang your tools, which is a necessary accessory. The cover, if you have it, is also important. And lastly, don't forget to oil your grill before and after BBQ, it is a must for its maintenance.
The construction quality is average, as after a month the lifting mechanism for the coals got stuck during cooking. Fortunately, it came unstuck when it cooled down.
Another observation is that the cooking surface is noticeably smaller than the dimensions of the cast iron grill, which disappointed me because I bought it for a larger cooking surface than what I had, but ultimately the difference is only slightly bigger. It needs to be placed on a completely horizontal and aligned surface, otherwise the lid does not sit properly and does not fit well.
It is good for cooking, as long as you can combine grilling and baking by closing the lid when you have thick-cut steaks.
If I had bought it at this price, I would be disappointed overall. However, since I found it on sale for €97 during Christmas, I can't say anything more. I am satisfied with what it offers for the money I paid.

The side grill bent during assembly. Useless plate! The cast iron broke and fell onto the coals! Incredibly poor metal quality. The top grill gets stuck in the opening and falls off. If you buy it, make sure to also get extra grills because the cast iron has huge gaps and the food and skewers fall into the coals!
Quite good construction (for its price), cast iron grill.
Big plus is the adjustable height on the tray for the charcoal.
I am waiting to see its durability in the first winter-humidity.
The best steak I have ever had on a home grill. It can also be used as an oven for baking. Excellent ergonomics, complete control over cooking. It only takes a while to cool down and requires a lot of charcoal
