Generally, I don't have an opinion on the Original Apple charger to judge. However, it took me about two hours to go from 20% to 100%. But even from videos I watched (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x4eQfV4_qik&ab_channel=PhoneArena), it does the same with a lightning cable. Of course, it's not 15W. Only 7.5W, at least according to an application I downloaded and measured from the App Store.
In no case is it a magsafe 15 watt charger. The 15 watts it mentions is just regular magnetic (Qi) charging for some Android phones like Samsung. For iPhone 12 and 13, it does not support magsafe charging but supports conventional (Qi) charging at 7.5 watts, which is very slow compared to wired charging (20 watts) and Apple's original magsafe charging (15 watts). For older iPhones, I'm not sure, but it's between 5 to 7.5 watts. The term magsafe it uses refers only to the magnetic connection.
