Assyrians, Chaldeans, Phoenicians, Greeks... Peoples and their ghosts, beliefs and their fears, people and their shadows, the dead and their tender remembrance. With an obsession for the search of a poetic density, clarity, and urgency, which seemed to crystallize in her previous book ("Famine", State Poetry Award 2008) and with a structural element of underground sarcastic tone, which began to permeate her poetry from even earlier deposits, the poet delivers her eleventh book. Sixty-six short poems followed by ten slightly longer poetic "narratives" all lead to the same question: How is existence devalued and how does one speak about it? How do the Assyrians commit suicide?
