UPDATE 2 WEEKS AFTER PURCHASE: The metal inside the rubber got cut at the point where it comes out of the base with relatively light use. I had bought 2 pieces and will come back for the evaluation of the second one (in case it was a material defect), however, on the second base, the exact same spot already appears worn out.

The base locks somewhere with a clamp, so it's a flip coin if it will be convenient or not because you can't put it everywhere. If it suits you, then the construction is fine, if not, get something else, generally nothing extraordinary, the base of the mobile is stable, like a selfie stick it's flexible, I can't describe it better, would I buy it again? Probably not, but I won't regret it, I spent hours with this device
